My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

I have a very big heart @Snowie and there's lots of room for everyone 😊. And yes, Jasper is a big and ongoing concern for me but that doesn't mean everyone and everything gets pushed aside. Or thought less of. You are often one of the first persons I think of on the morning and are frequently on my mind during the day. I look for your notifications or I come looking for you. Even when you can't provide direct support, just the fact that you are around is supportive for me. That's how much you matter.

I know this latest is consuming you and probably didn't go as expected. But you aren't responsible for the way others feel or react. Yes, it is hurting you and impacting your life immensely, but you can't control others. News like yours if often shocking and dealing with it is like dealing with loss. There is a process to work through, and stages of denial to acceptance. The timeline for that varies for each person. It will end eventually, but there's some rocky roads still to travel down. But you have us darling, and H. We will be here to hold you up when you feel your strength fading.

I know I can't control others and their reactions.

I know she is hurting too.

I know I have numbed myself tonight to not feel the pain.

Hi @Snowie I can totally relate to what you're going through. I've had to distance myself from family for the same reasons. It's not easy. I know. It' hurts so very much. Especially when a mother can't stand by you.
Im trying to accept that I have no family for this very reason
