My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Sitting with you too @Snowie. I agree with @outlander's suggestion, if you can find a nurse you are comfortable talking to, it might help to voice all the fears that are swirling around in your thoughts.

Poetry-writing helps me .... and they can start tumbling out once you start writing.

Hi all

So am home finally. H picked me up this morning, went to the chemist and then came home. Izzy was so excited to see me She hasn't left my side since.

Am still dreading the conversation I have to have this evening. Prn are helping with my anxiety. I will let you know how it all goes.

I hope there has been some goodness in your days.

I did it. It is over.

You didn't destroy anything Hon - that was done by that particular family member - it is not your fault at all dear @Snowie Of course it feels like it right now - when we keep such secrets so close it destroys us so and when they are disclosed it feels like nothing will ever get better - but the imense courage and strength it took tonight to do as you have done is simply amazing ....respect and admiration does not even come close to how I am feeling about you right now Hon ....so immensely in awe of what you have just done

@Snowie .... things can feel terrible in the aftermath of hard conversations, but it's also often a starting point for changes that need to happen, changes to relationships, or the beginnings of new ones.

There was a reason you needed to have the conversation tonight, and you did it ..... as tough as that was ..... but just keep a tiny space in the back of your mind that when this situation works itself out through the results of tonight, your mother may be able to reach out and receive help that she has been needing.

Things can change in ways we don't expect, and ultimately turn out strangely better than they were after a while .....

Hugs and hugs Hon. Keep looking after you. It's really important to do that 🌷💖
