My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Thanks @Zoe7 Squishy hugs and love right back at ya!

@outlanderjust watching BBT on my laptop. My nights in here are so eventful, not!!

I don't mind my own time actually, I prefer it this way. There is a common lounge people sit in and chat but not that typr of person.

Have you got many plans for tomorrow?

So nice to hear your day was a little easier. It's nice in a group when we connect with others in similar circumstances isn't it? I hope you get the same people in a couple of weeks too. Big hugs from me too @Snowie. I can picture all of us on your bed and you lost somewhere in hugs and tickles. Giggling and leaky at the same time!

Re: My special place

Lol @Snowie im glad you have at least bbt to watch!

Ive got my drs tomorrow but i doubt ill get very far as usual but i really only need some results from u/s and 2 of the other tests i done. Ive managed to get an appt to see gynae this friday rather then 2 months away thankfully so most of my questions will be redirected to him

Other then that just the usual bill paying stuff and going to get some new tyres for pops car.
Ohh and i have the kids most of the night again. So much for nothing planned 🙈

Re: My special place

Still in hospital, looks like I might be discharged next Tuesday hopefully. Will be happy to get home but scared at the same time, knowing I am semi safe in here. Still have lots of thoughts of SH and SI but they are not as intense which is good. If only they could disappear forever.

Had a family meeting today with H and the pdoc. Really anxious before hand but it seemed to go ok.

A decision has been made about family dynamics at home and who is not allowed at my house. I need to make sure my home is a safe place for me and my kids and with as little triggers as possible. It means some really hard conversations with some people. I am dreading those conversations and one of them will probably be the hardest thing I'll ever had to do, but for the sake of my mental health, my safety, my childrens safety and my furture it needs to be done.

That won't occur until discharge however and in person with those certain people. Perhaps thats one of the reasons I am hesitant to go home.

Flashbacks have set in and I have dissociated a few times this afternoon. I guess I expected it after the talk today.

Sorry for the long winded post and thanks for reading this far.

Lots of love and hugs

@outlander @Sans911 @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @Former-Member and anyone else reading this.

Re: My special place

They are some pretty intense conversations you need to have Hon but I do believe it is a massive step forward for you and all your family @Snowie It is actually a massive breakthrough for you nd as hard as it feels to do all this right now the benefits in the long run outweigh that snxiety at present. I sm actually really proud of you and your strength to state your needs and have a plan in place to help you into the future. It might not feel like it right now but I see this as a momentus day for your future ...so very proud of you Hon

Re: My special place

Never be sorry for a long winded post hun @Snowie. It's good to feel safe to express yourself here which you've not felt in a long time. I agree with @Zoe7 this is a huge step forward. You can hardly start to recover if you are constantly triggered. And it's likely that you are in a constant state of hypervigilance. Yes it'll hard to have that conversation but once it's done you can hopefully make better progress. All the best. You know you are fully supported and loved here.
