My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Today has been an ok day. Went out to lunch with family today so was nice to escape the 4 white walls!!

Had a bit of a hard afternoon. Was going to talk to the nurse but my nurse tonight is male and I don't feel comfortable talking to him about personal things (no offence to males but as a female there are just some things I can't talk about). Funny though, my pdoc is male and I feel like I can talk to him about anything. Go figure!

Will wait here for some forum friends to talk to.

I understand not being able to talk to male nurses about some things, maybe youll get a chance to talk to another nurse tomorrow if you feel comfortable with her/him 💜💜💜

Glad you went out for lunch with the family and so totally get you not wanting to talk to a male nurse. You have built up a relationship and trust with your pdoc - that didn't happen overnight - so it is very different to talking to someone you do not know and for them to be male just adds that little extra apprehension. I got hijacked by my kids for a bit there @Snowie, but I am back now, hoping you get some decent sleep tonight after the day out with your family ......

Thinking of you Hon. I am so glad you feel free to talk with your pdoc, and glad that you can recognise that it's okay if you don't want to talk to a male nurse.

Today has been an okish day. Went out and got my hair done which felt nice. Went for a long walk in the sunshine.

Nurse on tonight is nice. I had a good chat to her before hand. Just looking foward to Tuesday and been able to go home and sleep in my own bed!

Will wait around for people again!

It seems this time there are some better nurses that you feel you can trust. Have you had these same nurses on previous admissions? Are you in a private or public hospital?

And you've done some lovely self care things which is beautiful.
