Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

So well done @Snowie .... ❣️ You’re taking baby steps, and that’s how we all move forward through the most difficult things in life, a little at a time. The little steps add up and bring about changes and healing. You’re doing it ...... 💐💕

I hope the psych is a good fit for you Hon. So pleased to hear it has come up sooner.

Big hugs

Re: My special place

Seeing someone knew - and especially all you have been through with previous people @Snowie is very hard ...talking even harder Hon. Take it slow - you don't have to do everything or say everything in one session. Give it time too - it may not be the perfect fit for you right now but having that outlet and support right now is crucial for you.

The independent examiner tomorrow is yet another thing for you to stress about - anyone would be stressed about that - so wanting to feel numb is not surprising. This time tomorrow it will be all done though so take it minute by minute and hour by hour if you need ...often the waiting is harder than the doing. Do you have support in the meeting?

Hi @Snowie,
It sounds as though you are dreading that appointment tomorrow – and your forums friends here are wishing you well. I am going to send you an email in a moment to check that you are able to stay safe while you are having those thoughts of numbing yourself.

Re: My special place

I am pleased to hear you at least have that support on the way there and after @Snowie I also think it is ridiculous you aren't allowed a support person in with you - that just adds more pressure and stress on you Hon - grrr. I do hope this pdoc is kind to you and understands just how hard it is for you - will have everything crossed that it goes okay for you.

I do get that numbing feeling - makes it easier to get through until the meeting. It should not have to be the case and quite frankly the system is again letting you down. Are you able to take meds and get some sleep soon tonight - maybe the quicker you get to tomorrow and get this meeting out of the way the better.

Very much sitting with you Snowie - this is incredibly hard but you can do it
