My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Well at least your appointments can start up again. When are you meant to see the psych? Was it this week? @outlander

Hoping psych goes ok. Doing some more exposure therapy so that always seems to be anxiety provoking.

Not to bad hun @Snowie. Been packing on and off all day. Starting to hit me now that in a few more days I won't be sitting out the back of this house enjoying the breeze. Bit of mixed emotions about moving. I've liked living where I am now, so sad to go, but then there's lots to be done at new place. I've got lots of ideas that I want to do. I'm hoping I can manage to live without clutter in a one bedroom unit.

New neighbours to get to know. New ways of driving to places I already know. Different sounds to get used to.

i dont see the psych until the 18th of feb @Snowie so still a while away for that. i thought it was earlier until i double checked with them. she is intending on starting exposure therapy too. not so excited for that.

hopefully your session wont be too difficult even though exposure therapy is difficult in general.

Hi @outlander. I cancelled my psychologist & support worker this week to concentrate on my move. I'll be alright until next week.

My case manager/mh nurse is catching up with me on Thursday as I've not seen him for 6 weeks. He had a long break.

Mr A & I are outside catching a nice breeze. I'm letting stay out until nearly dark. When I move I won't be able to let him out for days. Then I have to watch him carefully as another cat wanders around so she could be quite territorial.

Sorry was just having a not so good moment.

It is pretty far away @Snowie but i dont really mind atm. Still tossed in the air about what to do moving forward so give me time to think abit more on it.

@Sans911 it sounds like mixed feelings. Ia there a place you could take Mr A at your new place even for short times? Id suggest a park but id be worried about dogs being walked etc. Might cause abit of chaos.

Sounds like a good plan to catch up with your mh worker this week. Im sure theres much to talk about too
