My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

It was ok - nothing much for me to report there today - I didn't want to bring up the nightmares in that setting so did that with the psych afterwards - she was good. I didnt talk about the nightmares themselves but the effect they had on me - I know you can relate to that soooo much @Snowie It is not good that I am still having them but it is good that the intensity and occurence is lessening - I hope that happens for you too Hon. The meds have certainly helped there.

We had our final day today with two of the members so that was sad - I will stay in touch with them though. One I already message occasionally and the other I know have contact details for as well. We have a week off next week so that break will be nice - especially with all the work stuff needing to be sorted.

@Zoe7I am glad the DBT went ok but sad to see people you got close to finishing up but hopefully you can stay in contact with them.

Yes the nightmares are crippling. I can't stand having them and lasts nights one's felt like I was going through it all over again. Even my psych can't help with them. Thats when, like now, my SI goes into overdrive and starts screaming at me to do something, to go through with my plans...

I do know how crippling it is when they are so real and so vivid @Snowie - and there doesn't seem any other way to deal with them than what you are planning - but there is Hon. It does take all your strength to get through this though - let's not sugarcoat it - it is bloody hard!!!! Stay here talking to us - let out whatever you need to - talk about whatever you need to - I am in a pretty good place tonight and am here for you my sweet Snowie

You can feel all that Hon - it is okay to feel all that but it won't change us wating to hel you @Snowie - that is exactly what we are here for - to support each other - you would (and have) done the same for me.
