My special place

This morning was going ok @Zoe7. I got some food shopping done and had put it away and decided to have a little nap on the couch when they came. I have got so many thoughts of sh and si in my head. had a prn to try and calm down.

Crappy you got triggered but good that you were able to settle yourself down, well done hun. Good job on getting to the pool today also.

It has not stopped raining all day but luckily I have an inside clothes line so can get some of the washing done. If I don't wash most days it just piles up too much.

Have you got DBT tomorrow?

Yes DBT tomorrow @Snowie - last session for this module then a week off. Sometimes the facilitator has an elective session to go to in the week off - it means if I go to tht I don't have to pay for the pdoc appointment in the afternoon - but I think I will take it off as I have my GP appointment on the same day and they are the first appointments with both of them back off holidays.

Is the prn helping to calm you Hon - it is so horrible that you are having to deal with this after you have had such a good morning - why can't life be simple hey!

The prn helps take the edge off the anxiety, it doesn't help with the thoughts I am just trying to distract myself and use my plan.

Yes a simple life would be much easier!

Gp, DBT and Pdoc all in the same day seems very full on hun. Might be better to have only gp and pdoc. I am sure they will both want to know all that has been happening, especially with the work updates too. I have psych tomorrow and really need to vaccuum the house, it is a mess.

More than happy to help distract you Hon. I need to vacuum as well but it can wait. Cat has come out looking for food already but she is not talking yet so that is a good thing. It does get annoying when she starts calling out to be fed and hour before she actually gets fed - daylight savings makes it easier though as she still thinks it is 4pm not 5 lol

Toby is spread out on the doona - that is exactly the position he was when I left for the pool - it is as if he hasn't moved for the past 5 hours lol

Any further developments on where the escape artist is getting out @Snowie?

Hehe @Zoe7 Toby is funny, he probably hasn't moved for the last 5 hours!!

We fixed the fence where she was jumping but she still got out somewhere the other day. She always comes back after awhile of being out and about so not worried about that. She just has no road sense so am worried that she will get hit by a car. And once she gets out she doesn't come to you of course. She is soooo naughty

She is asleep on my lap at the moment which makes my heart melt and forgive her for being an escapee!!!

LOL Toby doesn't come when I call him either unless it is for food haha. He did move when I got lunch (see he comes for food) but was soon back on the doona folded up on the couch @Snowie

Toby has no road sense either so I totally understand how that would worry you with Izzy. He does sit at the car door though and wait to be picked up and put in when we go somewhere. They definitely are smart - he knows when we are getting close to the beach, my sister's or my parents and runs straight to the beach or front door from the street.

I bet Izzy is just like Toby - you can't do without them and they are easily forgiven for everything lol

How sad is it thet BBT is only doing the one last season - I can't wait to see it though

I can imagine @Zoe7 Toby being the master of your house hun, hehe. I can't do without her which is why I need to try and find out where she is escaping.

I cannot believe BBT is ending. I thought it would be going on for ages. Lucky I have the first 11 seasons on my laptop so I can rewatch it again and again and again!! It really is such a good distraction tool for me

I do the same with Mrs Brown's Boys or Liverpool tv. I also have the complete set of Will and Grace that I love. I think I have seen each episode of BBT at least 3 times but could never catch up with you LOL @Snowie

Yes our fur babies keep us going - I know we both get how important they are in our lives - our little saviours

What is on the menu for tonight? Salad for me - had gnocchi for lunch.

It is Taco Tuesday here tonight. D has cooked the meat for me. I have to go get the salad prepared soon. I am sure in the next 15 mins they will start saying they are hungry, bit like Cat!!

I think I know all episodes of BBT as well - it is such a funy show - the writers of that and Mrs Brown's Boys are geniuses @Snowie I would add Will and Grace in there - especially for the time it was originally written. I also have the box set of Friends but I have watched them so many times I have nearly worn the CDs out. Next Christmas I am going to request the BBT set - as I don't have them all recorded and they are definitely not in order.

I will let you go and get the salad ready and go and get dinner organised for myself - great that D has the meat cooked for you. I had soft shell tacos last night so have a little of the mince left for tonight - so we will both be having something similar
