you are so valued and worthy of taking time to get treatment

your family loves you so much that they will actually be totally ok with it cause they want you well again.

your not taking time away from them you taking a step towards the possibility of being able to laugh again, to enjoy your days, sleeping a bit better maybe.
your showing your kids that taking care of your health…. Including your mental health is really important. Kids need that. They don’t need a perfect parent, they need a parent that is here and that shows that getting help is ok.
and I know you know, but getting mental health treatment is no different than getting help for any other illness.

you 100% deserve the help and care.

Just the whole process is unsettling (I know you have first hand experience too)

I'm worried that if I email the pdoc then I won't get a choice @Bow

But then again I haven't told my psych I spoke to him so she might do it herself. All this duty of care crap.

I'm still waiting for H to get home. I wonder if he'll notice what I did today (am safe)

I suppose if h has worked all day he might want more than that @Snowie I hope he’ll be happy with something simple.

I've got meals in the freezer if needed @Eve7 Always have some for times like this.

Might even be uber eats.

Both kids have gone out with friends for tea

My uber eats app must think I’m in Europe @Snowie as it is offering me €15 off my next order. I didn’t even use it in Europe, just used the ride in UK.

I wish I hadn’t come home.

I've only ever used it for food, not for drives yet.
