My special place

I’ve been to the movies with some friends @Snowie and I’m just trying to punch out about 200 words of an assignment. Not very inspired though.

My week is quite busy. Have hair dressers, psych (telehealth) and ECT this week. Also have to take mum up the street. She doesn't know what happened. Just pretend like everything is ok around her.

How does you week look?

You do have a busy week @Snowie . Your mum doesn’t need to know what happened as you sure don’t need to hear her opinion.

I saw EPIC it’s about Elvis in concert so music was great.

I have a meeting with the travel agent tomorrow t book hotel in Wales and organise travel to Cardiff from London. It’s 8 weeks today!!

Pdoc on Thursday and more work on my assignment.

You are right @Eve7 mum would certainly give her opinion whether I wanted it or not.

Every time I did an inpatient stay she would give me her opinion, which just made things worse.

That sounds like a cool movie, will put it on a list of things to see.

Thats exciting hon, 8 weeks to go. Makes it feel real when everything is booked and paid for. I really hope you have an amazing time. Some memories are so precious.

@Eve7 We went to Cardiff…. Hehe I got a fine for driving in a bus lane, but didn’t end up having to pay it cause for whatever reason I couldn’t get on their webpage to pay it, but I certainly got slugged the car hire admin fee which was double the fine!

How was it driving in Cardiff @Bow ? Have you driven in London?

Yeah we picked up a car in london but headed straight out of the city @Eve7 I’m a fairly confident driver but I was so nervous picking up the car! And then we got given a brand new hybrid car, it had like 7kms on it. It was real flash. It ended up being pretty straightforward driving around. I guess just need to be aware of road signs etc. speed limits changed frequently too.
are you going to hire a car?

My friend isn’t keen to hire a car @Bow but I would prefer to have own transport. The only place I’ve driven in the UK is the Isle of Man and that was super easy.

Oh we were so thankful that we made the decision to hire a car @Eve7 we were originally just gonna do public transport. But lugging suitcases around was very painful! Some stations don’t have lifts etc. the streets aren’t all smooth.
we actually got the tube from our accommodation to another train station where the hire car was and immediately decided nope not doing this upon the return! We got a cab once we returned the car into our next accommodation.
