Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

My sister just sent me a picture of the land where our childhood home once was @Snowie Im not sure how I feel about it. Many hard memories.

Re: My special place

I can barely move @Snowie . Have been following chiro’s instructions but am having a drink. Was surprised got shoes and socks off. They were so hard to get on this morning.

Can understand that @Eve7 I struggle to look at photos with my childhood house.

It can be so confusing. Lots of happy memories but so many hard memories too.

Can't even drive past where I used to work.

I guess you just do what you can @GezzaP

If that means not much than so be it. At times we have to give our body and mind a rest.

Re: My special place

Yes can’t do much atm @Snowie . Have given up and am having a drink. Cat keeps going to door but doesn’t go out when I open door for her. Naughty me having a drink. Not sure how I’m going to put cat bowl down tonight. Can hardly bend. Couldn’t water garden this morning. Was hard to shower and especially to put shoes on. Scared I’m going to have spasms again in bed tonight. They are so painful.

Re: My special place

It’s just a vacant block with all the trees gone as well @Snowie

I couldn’t drive past the hospital where h passed so was glad when that was pulled down and rebuilt. H’s anniversary is on Friday so I’ll just shut down for the day

Re: My special place

Anniversaries are hard @Eve7 It doesn't matter how much time has passed, it doesn't seem to get easier.

Just remember that we'll be here if needed. Even if it's just to sit and keep you company.

Re: My special place

Does having a drink matter @GezzaP No one is judging you on here

Perhaps the cat can have her tea somewhere else. easier to put their food down. They are good climbers.

Re: My special place

I managed to put cat food down @Snowie . She ate a bit then went outside. I hope I can get her to come back in for the night. Having a drink doesn’t matter. Will just have crackers for dinner even though I’m really hungry. Can’t be bothered cooking. Painful to sit or stand. So annoyed at myself for trying to lift something. Should know better. Hoping don’t have spasms tonight.

Re: My special place

Afternoon lovely @Snowie I am sorry that I never got back to you last week, things got a little busy in the background!! Sounds like the fires have passed you by?

And sorry to hear about that experience with your mum, sounds so incredibly intense, lots of complex overlapping emotions... My dad has started to develop mild dementia now due to his Parkinsons and it is incredibly bizarre to experience... There's a lot of grief, even though he's still around. Makes it hard to talk about too, you know?

How's your day been today anyway?

Hey @GezzaP @Eve7 @Bow @Shaz51 lovely to see you all too 😊

Sorry about your back @GezzaP hope it eases up soon 🤞

Hugs for you @Eve7 I second Snowie in saying we're all here for you 💜
