Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

What do you love most about science and maths? @Snowie

I understand, that can be hard to hold space for. But you did something really kind today by being there for her.

How can you be there for you tonight? 💛

@AuntGlow I love maths as most of the time there is an exact answer. I get pleasure out of being able to solve problems. With science I love that there is so much to explore.

If I wasn't a teacher I probably would have become an accountant.

Tonight is a little celebration. We just sold a house 😁Still need to sign a few documents but we did accept their offer.

Re: My special place

Been busy few days.

Had pdoc appt. yesterday (just by phone)

Increased another med to see if that helps. I guess only time will tell.

Out to tea last night with family. Just went to the local pub and it was busy. Too many people for my liking. So glad I booked in advance.

S having some friends over tonight for birthday. Thinking it might be a late night.

Ah, that makes me smile. You sound very curious by nature, which is a wonderful quality to have. I am sure your students love you.

Oh my goodness!! Congratulations!! What does this mean for your family moving forward?

Also, how are you feeling after your appointments? 💛

Re: My special place

We didn't live in the house @AuntGlow so don't have to worry about moving.

I spoke to pdoc on Friday. Wants to increase some more meds. Feel like I'm on enough already.

See my psych on Wednesday.

Had a huge fight with mum. She said some really hurtful things.

Not much sleep last night

Hey @Snowie just catching up on your thread after having last week off and I just wanted to check how you're feeling? Other than tired of course, sounds like last night was a bit rough

Hi @Ru-bee

I hope you had a nice time off. Did you get up to much?

Not great today. Not much sleep, intrusive thoughts and brain racing isn't helping.

Been journalling this morning and trying to read too. On the couch now watching the F1 race.

Re: My special place

I feel like I did lots and also not a lot @Snowie I did see my family a bit and got to cuddle my tiniest baby niece a bunch which was the best

Good on you for putting aside the time to journal and read, even if it was difficult on little sleep. Are you a big F1 fan? My dad loves it and some years I've gotten into a little bit but not so much recently. Anything exciting happening?

Re: My special place

Glad you got some cuddles @Ru-bee They can be so nice, so comforting.

I find journalling helpful especially when I struggle to get the words out verbally.

Ignoring mum's phone call

I'm not a huge F1 fan but will watch all the races. D and hubby are. They have tickets to the race next year when it's in Melbourne.

Had a big weekend with S turning 18. He got his license this morning too. Very excited.

Hopefully this will be a quieter week.

Re: My special place

Fair enough avoiding the call @Snowie take your time and talk when you're feeling ready

You're a good sport watching all of the races! Maybe it's a god thing S isn't into it with the brand new license and all 😂 Wow 18, that's a big birthday! How are you feeling about it?

Hoping for a quiet week for you this week 🤞
