Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

So right @tyme it shouldn't be hard work or make you feel anxious.

I guess I don't know what I'm missing as I've never had it. Maybe that's for the best.

But I do have Hubby, so I'm luckier than some.

@GezzaP I'm sorry that happened to you at yoga. I wouldn't have gone back either.

I will be taking my meds soon too. I normally read to try and calm my mind down.

Hoping for you that there are no nightmares tonight.

Re: My special place

@Snowie I hope I don’t have any nightmares tonight too. I listen to BBC radio. I leave it on as I usually wake uo a lot to pee.

Re: My special place

Had ECT this morning. Nurse asked about SI and SH. For once I was honest but didn't really make much of a difference.

Spoke to the pdoc there. He wants me to continue. Maybe it's for the best.

Anyway, home now and hoping tonight can just be an easy night. Will watch some of the footy but don't think I'll stay awake for all of it.

That was brave to be honest @Snowie . Sending lots of love ❤️

Re: My special place

It was hard to be honest @Eve7 It was one of the nice nurses on. She is normally on when I go in so have spoken to her before. Didn't really say much when I told her.

Just before I left she asked me again. Just said I wouldn't act on them.

Re: My special place

@Snowie Do you mean rugby or aussie rules? I’ll be watching aussie rules as my team is playing. Hope ECT works for you. Last time I was really down it worked for me after 7 gos. Thinking I might need it again but hate hospitals.

Re: My special place

I mean Aussie rules @GezzaP Don't watch rugby. I'm sure Hubby will be either cheering or yelling at the tv!!

At the moment I'm having ECT once per month. My pdoc calls it 'maintenance ECT'.

I don't really like hospitals either but this is a good compromise. I will say that its probably kept me out of going back into hospital.

Oh so we’ll be watching the same game then. @Snowie I’m going to have a beer.
