Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Hi @rav3n

I don't even have a friend I could talk to or would want to talk to, and I'm meant to speak to strangers. I hate all social situations. Even at school or work I was a loner.

A book club or cooking club would be better than any other one's.

My psych wants me to look into doing pilates/yoga or something similar. Same reaction.

I hope your day has gone well

Re: My special place

I know what you mean about social activities and friends @Snowie . I’m the same wanting to isolate myself when I’m feeling down like now.

Re: My special place

I have always isolated myself @GezzaP

Even from primary school I didn't have any friends. There is not one person from school, collage, work that I keep in contact with. I'm not blaming them, I never reached out.

Maybe it's just who I am, maybe it's from my childhood trauma, I guess I'll never know.

Even now, it always surprises me that people talk to me on here

I just want to say that we appreciate talking to you here 🙂

Re: My special place

I still have some friends from uni. @Snowie They try to encourage me but it doesn’t really work when I’m feeling down. Mine comes from bipolar disorder and I had a fight with my sister who says she won’t talk to me again even though I said I was sorry. With her she’s always right and you’re always wrong. I am a footy fan and it’s all that’s keeping me going at the moment. At least I managed to eat today. Will try to make it as far as the shower tomorrow. Thinking of going to bed soon. Sleep as you know is the only escape apart from the footy. Had two nightmares last night. One was in Spanish.

Re: My special place

I can understand how hard it is to keep going @GezzaP

Think I will be in bed soon also.

I hope your sleep tonight is more peaceful for you.

Re: My special place

I find it hard to even call people 'friends' because I don't feel as 'friends' I should feel that anxiety, nor want to just run home... right @Snowie

Re: My special place

I went to yoga for a little while @Snowie but when the teacher made fun of me when I couldn’t do one thing and suggested an outdoor session I was scared off.
