Mum's doctors said she could not stay at home but to stay at the aged care part of the hospital @Snowie , @rav3n , @tyme , @Jynx

So today hasn't been much better.

I think Mum is forgetting that I am spending most of tomorrow driving her, waiting around, and driving her home from lunch with friends.

I also took D to the airport. She is doing her first solo travel to New Zealand. Whilst she has been away before, it has always been with us or friends. So for the next 11 days I have another thing to worry about. I know she is going with a tour group, but still the Mama in me is anxious and worried.

I cried all the way home and still am. I think it is a mixture of things. I'm still really hurt about the conversation yesterday. My sh and si are still high. I'm trying to deal with them, just prn is maxed out once again. I only get a certain amount each week. Once I've used it then that's it. I doubt my pdoc will increase it.

S at work and Hubby out with friends, so just me at home.

Hubby is home now so that helps

So took mum to this lunch, waited around for 3 1/2 hours and then drove her home. Managed to do some xmas shopping for the kids so at least that was something. Took all my energy and prn to have to deal with the crowds however.

She told me she still doesn't feel like she is part of the family 🤦‍♀️

Oh forgot to mention she has to have day surgery on Wednesday. Guess who gets to take her, wait around, and bring her home? Yep, of course me. Guess who had to change around my pdoc appt. to take her? Yep, of course me.

In good news, D arrived safely and has her first day in NZ. So far so good.

We already have my aged care helping with mum. She refuses to go get help, talk to someone on the phone, go to respite (when hubby and I are away) and go to any community groups. Have also talked to her about having someone come out and talk to her and she refuses that too.

She cracked it with me this morning because I was at a dentist appt. when the hospital rang her with info about Wednesday (taking her for cataract surgery). I've already changed my pdoc appt. on Wed because of her.

On top of that my flashbacks have been high, my thoughts are high, I'm taking too much prn and I am over caring.
