Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Brain still not functioning anyone so sorry if I missed anyone

for @Phoenix_Rising as I know how much you don't like love hearts!!!

Hi @Snowie sending lots of love and support to you today.

I hope your mother can stay out of your way tonight while you entertain the teenagers.

She already saw S this morning so think she will stay away.

How are you going today?

Re: My special place

Having internet issues today @Snowie

I saw my pdoc yesterday and I don’t know why she bothers with me but I thanked her for being so patient.

Re: My special place

Thats a bummer @Eve7 especially if you have uni work to do.

I often think that about my pdoc and psych too. That I'm just a dollar sign to them. Just this useless person who keeps ending up in hospital.

I try to remind myself that they do care. I'm sure your pdoc does care about you too. It's just hard for us to believe it sometimes.

Re: My special place

That’s why I stopped seeing my psych @Snowie plus the cost of seeing both. I’ve told pdoc I won’t come next year but I’ll probably book in a few appointments and make them more spread out. I see her weekly at present but I just can’t afford that next year. Time to put on my big girl pants!!

Re: My special place

It does get expensive @Eve7 I know it does with both my psych and pdoc.

Yes we need to put our big girls pants on and try to help ourselves. But at the same time having that external help does not mean we are weak. It takes courage to admit we might just need that extra bit of help.

Re: My special place

I know I need help @Snowie . I just don’t want it to be so often.

Re: My special place

I can understand that @Eve7 Not wanting to rely on them so much.

I think I go through stages. Sometimes I need that extra support weekly, other times I feel a bit more safe/secure that I can stretch it out. It can be a hard one to determine too, especially when you have to book quite a bit in advance.

Re: My special place

So survived the weekend.

Might not be a big deal for some, but being around people so much without any down time was a big deal for me.

Finally have some time to myself now.
