just read up about your psych's response to the email you sent @Snowie

i'm sorry that things didn't go the way you wished, i'm sitting you with you.

do you reckon letting your psych tell pdoc and H might be ok for you?

I know I should let her tell them @rav3n I already know (especially with H) that I won't say much. I can't say what i need to tell him on here.

I guess she trusts me that I will tell him.

I feel like I just said what she wanted to here.

i see where you're coming from @Snowie i can imagine how having that convo with H right now would be exhausting and difficult for you.

i hear that she trusts you to have that convo yourself but you are allowed to change your mind and ask for help, it's never too late. would you feel comfortable requesting your psych to assist with that convo and letting them take the lead in that convo?

The problem is that I don't want to 'give up' what I should @rav3n. It's about the only thing I have control over.

And I know what my pdoc will suggest

finding a balance that works for you and allows you to feel supported without feeling like you’re losing control is very much the goal, you are deserving of feeling both supported and in control.

have you opened up to your psych about feeling a lack of control? is there anything health habits or activities that help you feel more in control that you can do tonight/this week?

I want control over my ...... but at the same time I have a lack of control with them. Thats why she wants me to speak to H, because of my reckless behaviour surrounding them.

It feels like a double edged sword.

Going to just head to bed, probably the best thing. I have ect tomorrow morning. I'm hoping that there are some nice nurses on that just don't dismiss me.

that must be frustrating and conflicting to feel that you want but don't have control over something @Snowie it's good that your psych knows, talking to H does sound like a good idea but i get how that conversation can be difficult to initiate right now. perhaps letting H read how you feel, similar to how you sent the email to your psych might be option? whatever you choose, just know we're here for you.
