My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

I'm going ok tonight thanks @Snowie. I'm up and down and round and round but tonight is ok. I did pretty much nothing today and feel better for it probably.

The crew are going ok enough too thanks. Big has some exciting school stuff ahead - an interview for a good school (big win if that happens!) and is busy with an application process for an even better school. The love hater duo are keeping me busy. I thought of you the other day wondering whether "lunch box wars" could be a new reality hit show 😉

How are you and yours going (totally don't have to answer that if you don't want to)? Have you started your cross stitch?

@CheerBearsometimes we need those nothing days to get us through. I am glad you feel a bit better for it.

I remember that process with Miss about going through the application process and interviews. It is an exciting time but also a bit stressful too. I think "lunch box wars" could be a tv show. Might go with "front seat wars"

Mine are going good. Having an almost teenager in the house wishes they were little again! But will get there.

I am okish, have got psych tomorrow and H coming (he requested it) so a bit nervous/anxious about that. Have just started the cross stich, I really need to get my butt into gear.

How is your crafting going?

Thanks @Snowie. I'll take anything that helps me feel a bit better at the moment. My break is not going to happen right now, so I'm having mini breaks at home when I can.

So stressful with school stuff sometimes, but exciting for sure. I'm glad big is enthusiastic. It helps. A teenager! Agh - that sounds scary.

I can definitely see why you'd be anxious about tomorrow. Do you think it could help to have H there? Please don't answer if you don't want to.

Good on you for starting your cross stitch! My crafting is goiing like my mood I guess. Start, stop, change my mind, get frustrated, try something else, go back to the same thing. I don't mind having a few things on the go though, to pick up as it feels right.

Mini breaks at home sound good @CheerBear but know it is not the same.

I hope all the school stuff goes ok for big. Hopefully it turns out for the best.

I am not sure having H there helps. He has been a few times with me and I find it harder to open up when he is there. I also know I won't talk about the real tricky things (like SH and SI) whilst he is in the room. It is him asking to come to this one so not sure what to make of it.

I find my crafting goes with my mood too. Actually everything goes with my mood!! It is good to have a few things on the go, gives you some choice when you feel the want to craft again.

I can very much relate to so much depending on my mood @Snowie :S

Definitely see how much H being there might make it harder to talk about the really tricky things. I think I'd feel pretty anxious about that too. I didn't like my case manager coming to an appointment when she did, but I found it helpful as she was able to get a better understanding of what I experience and I how best cope with it (totally different relationship to a partner though).

Did he mention why he wanted to? Sorry if you've mentioned this already - tricky to keep up sometimes.
