It seems we both have come away with a lot to process.

I can't see tonight turning out good.

I just finished off some dark chocolate coated pretzels @Snowie my prn for the day. Bag is half packed with mostly clean underwear which is the easy part.

Im going to the footy with S1 on Saturday night so that means taking my new footy jumper which I haven’t worn yet and black pants. All my packing is themed in my footy team colours so that helps my packing.

I hope you enjoy the footy hon. Haven't been in ages. Normally try and get to at least one a year.

Hopefully spending some time with S1 helps.

S1 is good company @Snowie as he’s calm like his father unlike S2 who is more like me.

Im just off to see a friend whose mum passed yesterday.

Aww your poor friend. A heavy visit, but sometimes being able to be there for someone is quite nourishing for the soul, amongst all the sadness and darkness. You're a good friend.

@Snowie That is fair that you don't want to open those floodgates, totally understandable - and also its own form of self-care, so good on you for that. I can hear that you're worried with how the evening may unfold, is there anything I could do to support you? Know that I'm sitting with you hun.

Sometimes I just want to throw it all out. What's done is done. It just makes me ashamed and then I want to do it again since I deserve it. Yes self care helps but does it really break that cycle.

Does it just put things of for awhile.

There's questions I will never know the answer to. They just plague me all the time. I don't think we can have the answers for everything. Seems impossible.
