My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

@Snowie there is both. Some units are more applicable than others like counselling and interviewing unit was pretty hands on.

We also have two 500 hour placement. I already finished the first one, I’ve been sorting the preferences in for my second placement, ideally want a MH based one

@creative_writer sounds like such a good course and even better when you enjoy what you are doing/studying. A 500 hour placement is huge hon. I guess it probably goes quicker when it is something you are interested in. I hope you get the preference that you want.

Hi @Snowie ...you seem much stronger than before you went into hospital! I see you around the forums, encouraging people, and you seem much brighter 🙂

That's nice the hospital rang for a follow-up. Did you have the outpatient ECT on Monday or this morning? Good luck with the ECT on Friday... 💙

@NatureLover I think it works both ways. Sometimes we need that extra support. Other times we can give back to the community.

No I didn't have ECT Monday or today. If I was still having it 3 times a week I would still be an inpatient. They try and space the sessions out now that I am an outpatient. So I have ECT Friday and then probably won't have another one for a fortnight. Since I'm not allowed to drive myself, I have to rely on hubby driving me in. Plus I have to get S to school, so it really does take a village just for me to have one session.
