My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

I’ve had a fairly crummy day @Snowie @creative_writer bad night to start with. Then I had to go collect these stupid meds from my gp. Haven’t taken any. Think I ticked her off.
I went to my arts and craft group, but sat away from everyone else and just did my embroidery. I chatted with my support worker for a bit. Told her some stuff. That I have zero hope. I’m over fighting. I don’t care anymore. Lied to a couple of her questions. But who cares.

i see my psych tomorrow. Don’t really see the point in going though.

Re: My special place

Thanks @creative_writer how are you?

I'm sorry things are getting to that point @Bow I understand when we just want to give up. Everything seems like it is in the 'too hard' basket.

It does sound like your supports do care about you hon. Perhaps if you don't think you can tell your psych what is happening, are you able to write it down and give it to her? I find this easier at times.

When things were really bad with me, I wrote it all down for my psych. I knew I wouldn't say it out loud.

Re: My special place

@Bow sorry to hear today has been rough. It can be hard to see hope at times, but emotions are always changing. I once had a therapist who said it’s about getting through the peak. That’s not to say things are easy afterwards, there are not, it’s just more bearable. Sending you lots of hugs 💖🫂

Re: My special place

@Snowie, I’m so proud of you hon for getting this far. I know it’s been a rough road.

My mind did a backflip in the shower today. It was so weird, I started randomly processing things when I wanted to relax. Started thinking about a dream I had weeks ago, then things went shit from there

Re: My special place

Thanks @creative_writer

It feels like I have been running a marathon. Except I think the finishing line continues to move 😒🤦‍♀️

Sounds like it has been a hard day. Sometimes our mind goes to places where we are not ready to go or we don't want to go there. I hope you have been able to do some nice things for yourself today.

Re: My special place

@Snowie you’re getting there, hon 💖. Life is a journey not a destination, we all have room for improvement and always will.

Brain does weird stuff sometimes. I’m going to uni tomorrow so been doing the normal things like packing my bag, I realised that my sanitiser was buried deep inside my bag and I didn’t even realise. I was wondering where it was. I am a Germaphobe

Re: My special place

It certainly is a journey @creative_writer I really think we are always learning and growing.

I hope uni goes well tomorrow. Do you enjoy it?

D has just started uni this year and is loving it. We did some tours of it last year and it is such a nice campus.

Re: My special place

@Snowie I see massive growth in you lately, I hope you can see that 💖

I enjoy uni. I do find it tiring thought with travelling. I do find I’m more productive when I study at uni vs at home. I only really go to uni twice a week for classes

Re: My special place

Thanks @creative_writer I just hope I continue along this path. I know ECT and my admission has played a huge role in where I am now compared to a month ago. I just hope it continues this way.

I'm glad you enjoy uni. Do you just do theory classes or are there practical classes too? I know this differs with different courses.

My D has both sorts of classes and is in 3 days a week. When she does placements next semester it will increase to 5 days a week.
