Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@lavenderhaze @Eve7

I know I have to do things for myself and have to take those steps but does she really think it is that easy. Just get up and do things. If it was that simple I would have done it already. Does anyone really choose this life.

Its just not worth it.

Re: My special place

I hear what you're saying, @Snowie.

It's definitely not as simple as just getting up and doing things. Taking those steps can feel incredibly challenging, and it's okay to acknowledge that.

It's also important to recognize that seeking support is a courageous step in itself.

Re: My special place

But why seek support when it makes you feel so crappy about yourself @lavenderhaze

It pushes me to my limits. Now I wonder if I try at all, if I like this life. Maybe I don't want to change. If not then why go through all of this.

Re: My special place

I hear the pain in your words, @Snowie.

It's completely okay to have mixed feelings about seeking support and it's understandable that it might bring up difficult emotions.

Have you been able to have an open and honest conversation with your psych about what feelings are coming up for you?

Change can be challenging, and sometimes it's a process that unfolds at its own pace. If you're not ready to make big changes right now, that's okay. Your struggles don't define your worth and you deserve kindness and support as much as anyone else.

Re: My special place

its my psych that has made me feel this way @lavenderhaze now i am meant to wait another week before I can say something. I can't go on for another week like this. Something is going to break.

It's too much to sit with, it too much to handle

everything is coming apart and I just feel like I am looking in from the outside

Re: My special place

I am sitting with you in your pain @Snowie! 💜

I completely understand how difficult it can be to wait and go through days like these.

Is there something you find comforting to do during tough times?

Re: My special place

I journal @lavenderhaze I never show anyone my journal entries. They hold my deepest darkest secrets. I can't even share them on here due to not wanting to hurt/trigger others.

Sometimes I read but need a clear mind to do so. It's something I wish I could do more of.

Re: My special place

I relate to that very much @Snowie! I am big on journaling as well, especially on days when my mind is feeling chaotic

I have been reading a book called The Rosie Project for the last few months, my attention span is not cooperating at all haha

Re: My special place

I've never heard of that book @lavenderhaze

I like reading non fiction and autobiographies.

I have to have the right mindset to read which hasn't been lately.

Journalling helps me. I just emailed my psych. I'm not sure if I should have written what I did but sent it before I could chicken out.

I know if I emailed my pdoc he would suggest an admission.

Re: My special place

It's a fun read @Snowie 🙂

I find autobiographies to be so inspiring, to be able to read about someone's life, ups and downs - it can provide a lot of hope and comfort.

I am glad to hear that you reached out to your psych, I hope they are able to help. If you feel uncertain about the content of your message, you can always follow up to discuss it further.

I understand, and it's not uncommon to feel that way, but I hope you are still able to reach out to them if you need the support.
