Hi @Snowie try to be strong if you can. I’m ok but did relapse on my stop smoking effort but only had 1 all morning. I willbtry again when I finish the pack.

The journalling didn't help @Jynx

I wish I didn't go this morning to my psych. Doing this emdr therapy scares me.

Does Izzy like to play chase @Snowie ? Our dog loves it. I chase her for a bit and the hide in a room and she goes crazy trying to find me. She loves a ball too

@Snowie I can understand that entirely. Would be a pretty intense undertaking. Do you feel you're not yet ready? Or that it could leave you feeling re-traumatised? Might be worth bringing up with your psych that you've had this response to the prospect.

Izzy doesn't like sharing @Bow You normally throw her a toy and she grabs it and goes into another room with it!! Then you have to go chase her 🤦‍♀️

I know I need to talk to my psych about what has happened @Jynx I just have to try and wait until I see her next. I don't know if I am ready. She thought I was, so I guess she would know more than me. I just have to get through the next few hours. Too many broken promises today.

No one can know more about you than you do @Snowie. And perhaps in your next session you can talk about building some more skills in getting through rough times like right now, to better equip you for EMDR. But maybe she will also have some reasoning as to why now is a good time, and you may agree.

One step, one hour at a time is a good way to approach it. And I'll walk with you as long as I can. I'll be around till 9pm tonight, and tyme will be here a bit later than that.

I'm assuming she has some logic behind it @Jynx , I just can't see it. I'll somehow have to wait till next week.

If I email her she will just say to use my safety plan, which I am already doing.

I'm hoping to be asleep soon. I can't take my night time meds yet b/c of the prn I have had. I can't see staying awake any benefit to me, I will just get into more trouble.

You're very welcome @Snowie I'm glad that I was able to be here for you. I hope you're able to doze off okay, and that tomorrow is a little easier on you. We'll be here with you the whole way too, till next week when you can chat to your psych about it all.

I'm going to try and journal again @Jynx My thoughts are scary tonight.

I think bed is the safest option. My meds really need to work.
