Well today is my Daughters 18th Birthday. I cannot believe I have an 18 year old in the house!!

She seemed to love her presents and the dog hasn't stopped growling at the inflatable balloons I got her 🤦‍♀️

Have an appt. with my psych this afternoon. Need to write a few things down to give to her. Not sure I can actually say them.

Determined to make this a happy day. I don't want it to be about me and my MH.

Will have Thai tonight (her choice) and a birthday cake. Having friends over on Friday night for a small party.

I'm going alright, how are you today?

I'm just working today and not much else on, how about you? Any plans?

I'm ok. Been awake since about 4am. Just couldn't get back to sleep. My brain wouldn't shut down.

I have a psych appt. this afternoon @amber22 so been trying to write some things down that I need to talk to her about. Easier if I just give it to her or else I would probably chicken out of telling her.

That's a really good idea about writing down things to speak to your psych about, it also helps you not to forget everything and also make sure that you don't not tell her everything because it can definitely be daunting verbalising your thoughts and feelings sometimes. How are you feeling about your appointment?

I'm feeling ok about it @amber22 I made a promise to her and broke it so not looking forward to that conversation.

It's not our normal appt. She had a cancellation so I am able to see her sooner then I normally do, which is probably a good thing.

I think it's a really good thing that you were able to get another appointment because of her cancellation, it will be good to chat about how you're going
