Feeling very isolated, down and lonley
Hi everyone, I’m feeling very isolated, down and lonely and are getting nearly no support. It would be good for someone to support me and help cheer me up?.

No worries about the ?, @LFS I am on a slow journey to better sleeping patterns. Bipolar is known for erratic sleep and I am a history of it. Lots of years awake mainly from dusk until dawn. These days I usually go to bed earlier but happen to be up late tonight, wired from the intense day.

Hi @LFS, sorry to hear that you're not feeling too good.
I know what it feels like to be in an isolating situation, both past and present. I had an abusive mother that never let me do normal things like hang out with friends after school, or have sleepovers. I'm paying for that now because I have to play catch-up with my social skills regarding human interaction.
As for now, I'm on my learner driver licence, and I've been trying to get my Ps for a year now, with no luck. It really sucks because I live in a semi-rural town with jack-all public transport, so getting around can be quite difficult. I think I've annoyed just about everyone I know for a lift some time or another.

Do you have any tips in how to get in a romantic relationship? @Mazarita I’ve tried as hard as I can to get a girlfriend for a very long time and girls seem to think I’m good looking but seem to be put off by my mental illnesses

Being kind is the best way I think, @LFS. That's what I've always looked for. And mostly found. But a lot of women have rough experiences with men from the past. That can make them wary of anyone who might hurt them. So, yeah, being kind, being friendly, and a good friend in intent. For me, friendship is the most lasting thing.

I’m very friendly and kind to all people @Mazarita. But the stigma of my mental illnesses seems to scare a lot of girls off.

Does anyone else have any ideas on how to get a girlfriend?

You may be right, @LFS. There is a lot of stigma about mental illness is general. I get stigma too. I'd be trying to just make friends with people maybe.

I try to do that all the time @Mazarita
