Hello @outlander @MDT @Sans911 @Snowie @Faith-and-Hope
Sounds like things might be a little better for a few people today, it's overcast and slightly rainy today, which is fine with me as it's been dry. Still cool which is a welcome change from the heat we had still been having most days.
I'm going to be a little quieter probably over the next few days or so, or maybe not, it depends. A few things going on and this weekend may be difficult. I'll probably stay in my thread and Craft Corner for the calm.
Have as good a day as you each can, and I really hope you get the rest, sleep and nurture each of you would like to have.

Totally forgot to respond to yur previous question @outlander re the crochet kits.
Terminology for crochet is something we often have to look up to make sure the stitch is the right one, I use this link for teaching the UK/ AUS version of crochet stitches . Here they tell you which ones are called somthing different in the US pattern system too, so it's a good clear teaching site and you can go to videos at the click of a mouse button.
It depends on how you learn whether a book or a video tutorial is better, personally, I find both still images and the moving images of a video complementary to learn from.
Books are expensive and if you've got internet enough to use the videos, I'd use that to learn from, then check out which books appeal to you if you want to collect any.
I have a few that are great but it depends on what you'd want a book for if that makes sense, as a bit like cookbooks, they are often produced for different purposes, like edgings or household goods, or garment making so it can get expensive discovering the right book for you. ![]()

Thank you sweetie. I just also wanted to encourage you to keep practicing the square breathing during the day, any time you get the chance and remember to. And to use it to focus your mind when you want to sleep. I find I'm working hard on concentrating on holding the imagined shape of the square from being a rectangle and suddenly, I'm asleep.
Thinking of you. No need to respond, hon. I'm just catching up on things here while I prepare some other stuffs. ![]()
