Thanks sweets, yes once mum is at the clinic I think things will start to improve but at the moment she not impressed with what's going on! Yes, I have been self caring and going for my walks. I know I need to otherwise I won't be good to anyone!
Is there anything that may comfort you to help you relax and hopefully sleep luv? You're also probably finding it hard to switch off from everything that happenned today. A lot of stuff came up for you at your therapy session.

Yes, they can be very stubborn. Actually, seeing mum this way reminds of when I was a kid - she's was a fiesty one but as she has gotten older she has mellowed a bit. But at the moment, she not so mellow. Thanks luv - I'm hoping the transfer goes smoothly too.
So true luv, simple things do add up. When mum has been hospitalised in the past I would constantly be there, all day sometimes whereas this time I'm taking some time out for myself and going in the afternoon - otherwise I will burn out like I have done before. Towards the end of last year I had mum in a mental health clinic and my sister was also in one! I was running between the two of them. I was a mess 😕
Good girl for having the essential burner - it may not be helping like it has in the past but at least you have put in on. I love lighting my candle as I find the smell very soothing and calming. Are you on your own at home? I'm just throwing ideas out here ... does colouring in help you? You like drawing dont you? I'm thinking of what else could keep you occupied but not too alert so you can hopefully drift off to sleep. It is hard though when you have so many things racing around in your head to try and sleep.

So true about the doctors and nurses being there for mum, and they are looking after her. The nurses know me by name haha ... they are lovely which is reassuring.
When my mum can't sleep she gets up and cooks lol ... no complaints from me though as she is an awesome cook! I, on the other hand, get up and eat ... not so good for the waistine.
What is a worry box?
I can understand what you are saying re: having control when you are awake. Definitely turn off the oil burner before you sleep. Has the therapist given you some coping strategies when you have the nightmares and visions, ie like meditation, mindfulness? Yep, I enjoy listening to music too 🙂
