i cant seem to produce paragraphs so dot points will have to do. im not tagging, just expressing thoughts and maybe someone might have some suggestions.
-A news article that keeps popping up about a young girl and a dog attack. This is ony a few weeks away from my incident- with the same type of dog and has a vicious picture of it on every article including the news so I cant go near social media or tv or anything at all. so is constantly having me on edge and distressed evne though im trying really hard to avoid all triggers
-Having a constant temp of 37.6 for the past few days and then getting a really hot flush, sweating and shakes and goes up to 37.9 but no other unusual feelings. Thankfully today its sitting at 37.4 and not going anywhere ut still really hot flushes.
-5panic attacks in 3 days- one of them while driving and dissociated having flashbacks of that horse accident and took a long while to recover after pulling over. I dont know why its those flashbacks
-My nerves are shot- they are like fast paced electricy flowing through my veins and very jittery and anxious
-lost my second job again over nothing at all
-ive had 2 people point out one of my visible characteristics which is being lopsided and walking funny. I have a constant limp like walk even when im ok because of my injuried in my leg, and I also have a milder case of scoliosis but it is visible. One side of me is straight and the other side actually looks like I have more weight that I actually do. If I rest the leg (like bend the knee when standing) on the side im straight then it looks a little more 'normal' so im very self conscious about that and 2 people pointed it out. It is also casuing quite a lot of physical pain and the meds arent really helping all that much so need to speak to gp about other options and what else I can do besides meds. Making my arvo walks abit harder and sleep just that bit harder too.
-i cant seem to be managing my emotions. Im getting irritated and more tired and im unintentionally taking it out on others- being abit snappy and distant from everyone.
- im feeling really distressed over everything and having trouble settling at all, am abit better tonight though. Have been avoiding all triggers and have had lots of help here.
- sleep- barely sleeping. Have my old meds (sleepers) took those twice (not suppose to, min 3 day gap and not on them anymore) and had strong urges to just keep taking them but didnt and will speak to gp about that. Ive been staying away from everything because of those urges atm. I have very strong SI/SH urges of all kinds and im trying my best to stay safe
- dissociation- im dissociating a lot, esp while driving. Im zoning out a lot and just feel im not focussing on anything so im limiting my driving a lot
- im trying to help pop and i know him loosing his independence is really hard for him. watching him have his bad days are starting to really get to me even though hes ok most of the time. he expressing his concerns to me and i listen but when i suggest something that might help he gets upset and makes excuses like he has sleep apnoea and i said maybe we could make a gp appt and see what happens- him ' went there yrs ago and the machines are too expensive- me o said there might be other options out there now but we eont know unless we ask. him- changes the subject. its really hard trying to care for someone who doesnt want to help themselves. i really care for him and i think im doing my best but it doesnt seem enough
- I have a weight manangment appt tomorrow as well and it means having to deal with that, and also meantioning my sleep and also means talking to my gp as well.
