@Phoenix_Risingi dont know what happened behind the scenes.. the stuff i told you is all i was told too and it sounded like thats all the recpetionist knows too. they dont let you speak to the psycholgists (even if youve seen them before) that what they said anyway. when i rung the helpline when i was in crisis they said ie got supports so they cant help me- their words and so after i had calmed down run the centre i was at and they told me all of that.
yeh i guess i can do that, after the 10 (now 9) sessions are up with this psych i cant get anymore until feb next yr. both her and i know that not alot can be done in such a short amount of time- honestly she confused the heck out of me the entire first session. she would say something and it would make sense then say something else and make it not make sense. out of the entire session the only part i got out of it was we can accomplish much in 9 sessions and we work with how i feel on the day- as in if im happy then we talk about that- not the past (not even the past week/fortnight in between sessions). no the vision board if things i might like to do e.g study. thats why i havent done it. i dont know what i want to do and the more i think about it the less things come up and it starts to stress me so im not doing it until i have something other than study. honestly these sessions are looking like a waste of time.

@outlander it sounds like the vision board is a great exercise. The fact that you are finding it so tricky suggests that it is a really useful exercise to work on. It's pretty hard to achieve goals if you don't know what the goals are! I wonder if unpacking the want-to-study idea might be a good place to start??? For example, maybe you could think about what you need to achieve in order to get back to studying, and also where you might like studying to take you (e.g. employment etc). I wonder if getting a decent night's sleep and building social connections might also be goals for you - I'm just rambling here based on things I've heard you mention here in Forum Land. ![]()

ill work on it eventually little turtle, im not a fan of vision boards tbh of any sort.. @Phoenix_Rising
i dont have the answers to that question either- where to start with studying. sleep! is always a goal but even the gp doesnt have a clue even though we only tried one sleeper and has used the excuse that she doesnt think my psychiatrist would want me on anything else.

Hi @outlander,
I'm finding it really interesting the way whatever I say, you are coming back with something negative. That's absolutely totally a bazillion percent ok, I just find it interesting. The way we think can shape our feelings. If we think everything is hopeless, then we will feel hopeless. On the other hand, if we can find a spark of hope, this can help us to feel hopeful (and hopeful is a super nice feeling to feel). Anyway, I'll leave you in peace for the evening now. ![]()

@outlander There is nothing in the world to be sorry about. All is well. ![]()
By the way, did you see the pictures I just posted on the ocean? They are squiggles that TTT drew for me. I'm getting opinions on what to turn them into. The things people are coming up with are super making me giggle. Maybe you can help me out if you'd like to. ![]()
