rough time

I wish i had never heard of Zoom @eth !! haha. I am still working full-time (for which i am very grateful) and we have so many Zoom or Skype meetings. Some of them go well, but often it feels like half of them is people sorting out how to speak, or mute their mic, or get their video working. Also my daughter has a habit of bursting into my meetings - this is sometimes charming, and sometimes embarassing!

Whatsapp has been wonderful for staying in touch with friends and family. It's not the same as in-person, but it's good considering the circumstances.

how did you go with your MH professionals?

Hey lovely, glad you enjoyed that song.
it went well I guess, my gp has got me returning to work next week but only for 4 days and only 4 hours a day. He is willing to fight for this for me because he didn't want me back at work yet, but because I am willing to give it a good go he will back me. My counsellor is impressed that I was able to finally stand up and tell my gp what I wanted and needed in order to return to work. I can handle it when she praises me for anything, not use to having someone say it and mean it.

How did Mr8 go with his, if you don't mind me asking.

Most importantly how are you babe? What are you feeling right now and what are you and those gorgeous little men doing?

I am so proud of you honey for willing to give work another go. That is fantastic news but remember baby steps. How are you feeling today?

mr8 went well today. She has given us some idea on how he can express his feeling a little better by writing them down or drawing picture and putting them in a worry box. Then I read his letter and respond accordingly. She made me better understand his anxiety and how to treat it at home. It was a good session. He sees her again next week.
mr12 has just had his first guitar lesson online and now is having lunch before he has to get back online for his next lesson.
I tried sitting with mr8 for a bit to do some work but I am finding it hard to concentrate and be present with him 😞 I have my psych appointment at 3. It is too overwhelming for me right now. Not feeling good today.

My sweet, I am sorry you are having a hard time today it's not fair at all. Please take a moment and take some deep breathes and focus on something that makes you smile. It doesn't matter what it is just something that brings a little joy to your heart.

Did Mr12 enjoy his first guitar lesson? I am very happy that Mr8 had a good session and that she was able to give you some tips for helping him.
