Re: rough time

they've asked me a few questions and they've said to see my gp within the next 12 hours so im going to ring my gp as soon as they open tomorrow morning and go from there.
they've told me to isolate myself till I hear from my gp and what they want to do. they said it also sounds abit like allergies and also a common cold as well
@Sans911 @Snowie
so im going to clean up my room abit so if something does happen no ones going to trip over anything or if I happen to need something I can tell the person exactly where it is.
has me a little worried now

Re: rough time

It quite likely is that lil Sis but better to take full precautions now and hopefully been proven negative. You can't risk putting your pop in potential harms way.

I hope tommorow you are proven wrong. Have you any ginger or peppermint tea you could have with a bit of honey added?

@outlander 💜 💜

Re: rough time

I really hope so sis @Sans911
they said im a low risk because I haven't been in contact with any known cases (as far as im aware) but because im around elderly and kids just to speak with my gp because before I come in they decide how much they need to prepare ie they are actually doin drive throughs atm where I can go, drive into their driveway they will come suited up and then check me over and then I can go so I wont be risking anyone else.

I don't have ginger tea but I have chamomile with added honey in it, that might work?
I cant have anything will peppermint or even be around it for some reason.

I know I have to put myself first but I cant help worrying about everyone and everything else.

Re: rough time

Yes I'm sort of OK today @outlander.

I got a sponsored place on an online nurse refresher program so I've been trying to do some of it today. But because it has modules on the virus so many people are doing it at the same time so I can't do some questions or assessments. It's been a bit frustrating as I can't do modules ahead until I have completed these others.

Jasper's remains come home in the morning.

And I'm a bit cranky with my mother as she's not being as serious as she should be with this situation. She had a number of family members gathered at her sister's place. No social distance practices either.

Re: rough time

oh that's great @Sans911
do you need to do this refresher course before your allowed to work again?
yeah id imagine the online systems would be pretty overworked atm, hopefully youll get a chance to do them asap so you can kepe working through the modules

im sure itll be nice to have Jasper home where he belongs even if its quite emotional atm which is totally understandable. hows Mr A going now?

hmm some people aren't taking it seriously, theres still people around here who think its great to let their kids wonder the streets or go hang in the malls etc. most of the adults seem to be shaping into line now though. I had my aunt come over today but she washed her hands used hand sanitiser and we all sat across the room from each other so well within social distancing. she wasn't going to come up but ive been after a few supplies and asked the family if they found any to let me know and ill pay them to get them for me and she managed to find 2 things I was after- pop and his fussiness playing a huge part here plus his diabetes so he sues those sugarless sachets-they are really hard to find atm so lucky she found them today.

do you know what level restrictions are in place for wa atm?
weve just hit level 3 meaning no visitors after midnight unless urgent or dropping supplies off to those who need them) and no more then 2 people at a social gathering unless they live in the same household or its necessary ie I can still babysit siblings but basically we are heading for total lockdown here.

Re: rough time

The course isn't mandatory @outlander but they are trying to get nurses fast tracked back into the workforce. Although I'm not applying for a dept of health position, the course will help refresh my skills to go back into emergency. It's worth 1k. So I figured why not. I didn't think I'd get a spot so I was very surprised when I did.

Mr A is curled up on the bed atm. He's still very sooky and cries when he can hear me but can't find me. He's likes to stay close. Now I'm getting some cuddles.

I think we are level 2 here atm. But we are having intrastate borders shut to non essential travel on Tues. There are some restriction on takeaway alcohol. Shopping centres still open. Schools open too but the tafes are closing this week.

Re: rough time

ita a great opportunity @Sans911 even if the studying is a little frustrating atm!
im so proud of you for even applying for jobs and very happy for you to have got one. I hope this might be the start of a new beginning for you

Give Mr A cuddles for me, he must also be wondering whats happening and since hes quite in tune with you is wondering how your feeling.

we have closed borders too I think, really the only thing left open here is schools but are encouraged to stay at home so 90% of kids are now, tafes/unis are shut, cafes, anything beauty is shut. only essential shops and health services are left open now. and most like chiro physio and dental are shut (unless very urgent) even though they are classed as essential. all playrounds etc are shut as well and we are only allowed out for 1 hour to exercise and only ourselves or family unit no friends etc can join, we are allowed to travel to feed our horses but the property has staggered times and we are basically allocated times now to avoid to many people going at once.
some restaurantsare open but its delivery or pickup only and they will ring when food is close to ready to avoid anyone waiting around.
