Re: rough time

ive asked mum @Snowie I might give my gp a call first thing in the morning and just stay right away from pop for now.
I think its going to affect mums work now though, if I have it or if im under investigation then it means I cant be around anyone either including watching the kids
I don't know what thatll mean for pop either, I don't know if im going to have to have him move out till im better or if im suppose to go somewhere else

Re: rough time

Calling your gp in the morning sounds like a good idea @outlander

If it affects your mum than so be it hun. Your health is the most important thing at the moment. She will just have to work around you.

Just take one step at a time

Re: rough time

its quite scary, there are 57 confirmed cases 3 in ICU just in my local area in my local hospital @Snowie ill ring in the morning cause I had to change my gp appt to a phone call instead of coming in anyway

im abit more concerned about pop since he doesn't cope well when im not here or if im sick.

Re: rough time

Sorry all I've been on a phone call from a friend in NZ. She's very unwell with pneumonia (not virus related) and is a nurse. Unfortunately she can't work at the moment or during the course of this pandemic, and she was only casual so times are quite tough for her.

@outlander you absolutely must put yourself first in this situation. Your mother will have to do something and that's not your fault or your problem. Can you ring the helpline tonight? Have you had any of the other symptoms?

@Former-Member really, really nice to see you here tonight. I was worried you had left or worse. I see some members have given you some very sensible feedback and information.

Re: rough time

yeah I will be @Sans911
just dry coughing heaps, chest starting to hurt if I have a coughing fit, and getting a sore throat but only when im coughing.
I get hot flushes but no fever and no other cold symptoms yet

mums told me to call my gp when they first open up and see what they think. she also knows I get like this with my allergies and have been spring cleaning so doesn't know either but says to ring my gp in the morning and ask what to do next

Re: rough time

Know doubt you are concerned about your pop but perhaps your mum might have to look after him for awhile if you are unwell @outlander

Might make her realise all you do for him.

Sorry to hear about your friend @Sans911 I hope she recovers quickly.

Re: rough time

I would feel better and I think it might be sensible to ring the helpline. It's probably not the virus but doesn't hurt to get their opinion.
