Hi and good morning @Former-Member @outlander and thanks for the tags. And also to @Appleblossom @Snowie @Molliex @Maggie and anyone else here today. Hope today goes to plan and has some highlights in it for all of you.
Outlander I'm so sorry to hear that the facial nerve and slow dental recovery are still causing such problems. (I just googled treatment for 'palsy' after dental surgery and it sounds like there are a couple of things your surgeon can do, other than just more surgery - as always can't mention the meds here) I think it's outrageous that you are being told to wait so long with such pain before you can have any treatment. And that the effects of your other procedure still haven't settled down either. I really feel for you. I truly think you're amazing the way you soldier on when others would be laid flat. Very much hope you are getting some rest periods and that your mother is stepping up and putting less of a load on you while you recover.
I hope the appointment re your pop is a good one and they ask all the right questions for you to paint a full picture of what happens for him, and thus for you. Take care lovely xx
I have another driving lesson (no. 2) this morning and am seriously hoping there's not too much traffic chaos out there with it being cup day. Normally it's one of the 2 days a year that I boycott the world (an anniversary of a sad time for me) so it will be an extra challenge for that reason. With my psychologist's advice I changed the lesson plan they wanted me to do, so at least it will be an hour, not 1 1/2 hours.
Have a better day everyone.

Thanks @outlander . Good to hear some of your pain at least has eased. And that you are fully informed about what's happening with your facial nerves.
I went straight from the driving lesson to my water tai chi class which really helped me relax. The driving lesson today didn't freak me out like it did the first one. Plus I was able to ask the instructor to slow down a bit and he did. Even tho' he talks a lot - a lot! - he seems to be able to listen too.
When is the meeting about your pop's needs? That's the sort of thing I'd be making a note of anything I thought of for a few days beforehand. Hope you feel prepared for it and get some good outcomes.
xoxo
