When my life was really dark and I was badly troubled as you are now - a long time ago - I had these sort of feelings happen on sunny evenings in winter when the shadows from the fruit trees in our back garden gave me the creeps every afternoon
I don't know if this is normal or not - I was actually burning out from the stress in my life at the time - you have enough stress - there could be something in common there
It's scary - I know

@Owlunar i feel embarrassed being this age and being scared to go outside. Im ok once ive been out the first time in the day and can come and go as i please without too many troubles its the initial walking out the door the first time and actually getting to my car. At night if i have to go out i actually nearly run and i feel stupid

It's awful and I understand - I found it terrifying watching those shadows creeping up the back yard - actually I have not thought about it for years but I was afraid of those shadows
I know you feel embarrassed and stupid but there is no need to be - I think it is stress related and something you need to feel okay about when you talk to your therapist

Thanks @Owlunar its scares the crap out of me and its stopping me from going outside of a morning and later arvo/night. I still go out but panic alot.
