Re: rough time

Hi lil Sis @outlander

I'm feeling quite accomplished and proud of myself tonight. Nah, I didn't study as I intended to as sleep got in the way. But I have gone outside and sorted several boxes. I have thrown away a lot of things, mostly from 20 or so years ago. This also included my nursing units books and assignments. I'm such a hoarder in keeping stuff like that, but I didn't give too much thought to the process. Everything is online now so these things just take up space. I still have a lot more to do but I've made a dent at least.

Unfortunately I slept a lot today on and off. It seems now to be a Sunday routine. I had good inteeof studying but it didn't happen. I don't have anything planned tomorrow so I'll make an effort then.

How has your day been?

Re: rough time

well done sis! @Sans911 you got lots of sorting done today! yes your right lots of books etc are online now so it makes it a little easier to throw some things away. im proud of you too

my day has been so sloooowwwww. it really dragged out the hrs today. im watching mary poppins now though. thankfully (and keeping fingers crossed) that what i just ate will stay down. i havent felt the need to throw up since this morning at ungodly hrs but i havent really eaten anything either. i have a busy morning tomorrow though which is often when i feel at my worst even on a good day but as long as im abit better than what i am now ill be ok. just have to catch up with a few clients who are going away about midweek. think ill be resting after that though since im still really tired, achy and headachy atm.

Will you have much to do tomorrow besides some study?

Re: rough time

Sorry for the yucky feelings. You do have a delicate system don't you @outlander? I really feel for you.

I have a very strong constitution, and can fight off most things. If I throw up, then I'm really sick. I often kept working at times when unwell or in pain because I have a very high pain threshold.

Tommorow is a public holiday here, so not much to do or go to anyway. So it'll likely be sleep and study.

Re: rough time

i am knocking on every wooden piece of my house when i say this but i actually dont get sick all that often. my yuk feelings in the morning come from my gerd and nausea but if i get a few mouthfuls of water or tea and it usually subsides by about 10ish.
my system is only really sensitive to things like medications. thats a nightmare to work with! but illnesses generally im ok even when everyone else is sick. When i do catch a bug or cold etc it usually strikes rather hard. like you though i generally work through it unless im really sick. no rest for the wicked!

i have a pretty good pain threshold, ive had enough injuries to be use to pain. my one absolute weekness though is needles- i still pass out and they dont even hurt that much! my teeth are mostly bothersome since its a constant pain rather then on and off. sometimes they feel worse then the fracture i had

we have a public holiday next monday- kinda wish it was this monday so i didnt have to take the kids to school but im sure ill be alright. @Sans911

Re: rough time

Both boys are asleep on their blankets. They are so relaxed looking and still. I let them outside for awhile which they enjoyed.

aww cuties @Sans911
do they still stay close to you when going outside or do you need to put their harnesses on? i remember you saying theres a few cats around your area

Re: rough time

I have a very small yard that is enclosed, so they can't go too far at all. Only Mr A needs a harness & lead, as he's more curious and adventurous than Jasper. Jasper just mostly sits whereas Mr A would likely jump the fence, which he's tried several times. They generally do their own thing and I often leave them alone out there while I stay inside. Sometimes they'll come back inside on their own. Mr A's cord is about 3metres. He often finds a place to roll around or lay down.

Re: rough time

Sorry sis. I spoke to soon. I was getting overwhelmed at the same time and just made it into the bathroom.

Aw im sure they love being outside. Your cats seem to swap personalities when they go outside. Mr A is pretty chilled inside but jaspers more adventurous but when they go outside its the opposite.

How old are they? @Sans911
