Mr A is quite adventurous when he gets outside, but jumps at any sound. If I am holding the lead, he will race to get back indoors. But yeah inside he's chilled because he feels safe. He's coming up to five years old this year. When he was rescued by rangers he was outside, so I don't know if he was abandoned outside or for how long he was there for. And whether he was an indoor or outdoor cat. Perhaps he escaped & got lost. Just seems odd that he hates sudden noises. He's slowly letting me hold him at times without squirming.
Jasper is a chilled, spaced out cat most of the time. He's coming up to 18 months and I've had him since he was 3months old. He had a brother and sister. He also doesn't like loud, sudden noises. Jasper is the second cat I've owned with medical issues.

Wow is Jasper really almost 18 months old! It doesn't seem that long ago whe you were telling me/us about the kitten you loved at the pet store.
I dont think many cats like loud or sudden noises though do they? My cats use to be the same and they were indoor/outdoor depending on where they felt like being. Theyd come hurtling inside if there was a loud noise though. You wouldve liked my cat if you met him i reackon.
Aw Mr A sounds like he had a rough upbringing before he found you. Glad hes finally starting to allow cuddles and things now.

Im going to head to bed now @Sans911 or at least try to get abit of sleep. We have a fair bit of smoke lingering on from backburning which is setting my asthma off abit. Hiding under the covers with a fan seems to be helping though 👍

@Sans911 I see you have now become an esteemed Elder. I gathered from a post you made to the farewell to guides thread a week or two ago that you were not reapplying. More's the pity. Though I suspect you will continue to do pretty much the same now anyway. Just no longer in an official capacity, and hopefully without any pressure on yourself. Thankyou for all you've done in the past, and likely into the future.

Thanks @outlander but I've not fulfilled my responsibilities as a CG for some time now. My space that I am here has shrunk considerably so I don't believe I can offer the support that's required of a CG.
