Dearest L'il @outlander
I do apologise for not being around much the past few days. I have been reading along when I can and have seen that others have provided their usual care and wonderful advice. @Sans911 @Appleblossom
Sorry to read that you are likely experiencing some carers burnout. Its a hard one to deal with, because we all try to do our absolute best for the ones we care for, and its really difficult to find the time for ourselves in the process. When we feel we are failing in any way, we tend to take it out on ourselves, beat ourselves up about it, feel we are not good enough. This is not the case at all. Its really really important that you stand your ground and not take on any extra family responsibilities. Be strong and ensure you still have a few small windows in your days to spend on your own wellbeing.
Regarding seeing two different GPs, I dont think its a problem at all. My regular GP is a male Dr and I have been seeing him now for 10 years all up. However there are a few occasions where I see another Dr within the same practice. The reasons can be anything from unavailability of my regular GP to needing to have a pap smear. Argh ... that was a failure I dont wish to revisit! But my regular GP is the practice owner and is hard to get in to see, so if I need an urgent appointment, I sometimes need to see another GP. I gather that the 2 GPs you are now seeing are from different practices. But as @Sans911 pointed out, your records are transferrable, and this is not a problem at all. The only thing medical practices may be a little cautious about is the practice of 'shopping around' for restricted medications. Which is much more difficult to do now, as chemists have all the records to ensure it doesnt happen. If you have a GP who you have been seeing for a long time, which for you would be since you were a young girl, then it can be a definite positive to see another to gain a new perspective to your diagnoses and treatments.
Hoping you have a good day sweetie.

Ewww ... not good re the tummy bug @outlander
An enforced rest however, is probably a good thing. Make the most of the chance to rest up. I hope you have a few good movies at your fingertips? Both ginger and peppermint is good for a tummy upset. Anything in the cupboards?

Black tea, no milk. Peppermint tea would be good if you had some. And anything ginger .. Even ginger chocolate. 😋
We have Foxtel here, a bit of a luxury.
The hug and shoulder to cry on is appreciated. Protection from your tummy bug provided by the NBN. And my computer has good virus protection. 😷 So I should be okay. 😄
Quiet day today. Hubby conciliatory. Holly is good. Took her for a walk around the paddock this morning. Had fun sniffing out rabbits. Very mild day here, warm after some light rain yesterday. Should get more today and next few days too. Need it, its so dry.
Best go. Will check in later.
