@Sans911@ sorry if I stressed you further about your housemate, just been used in my time and know it's a frustration you can only put up with so long
@Former-Member,saw the Brumbies this morning two ,then looked down the road and the rest were there ,turned around so so wouldn't scare them.
Also saw muma emu and her two babies about a foot high following her.Always reminds me of the dogs years ago who chased two emus, they took off behind them around a bend...next minute panicking the they came back, the emus decided to get revenge, chasing and trying to peck at the dogs. The dogs sat on the verandah all afternoon exhausted and in shock that day.lol

Hi @outlander - finally home and just read your post here. Sorry for late reply. It is hard to work out sometimes what is causing what, but the doctor you saw sounds good. Being a good listener he will get to the bottom of it in time. It's hard when we can't eat much, take it as easy as you can my friend as you will feel weak for awhile on such little sustenance. Did your doc talk about having as endoscopy to see if their is an ulcer etc? Hopefully what he has given you will help so you can get some sleep. I am going to try for an early one myself tonight 💕

I’m so glad you got a Doctor that cared enough to ask questions Claire 🙂 I have heard of GERD {sounds kinda funny when you say that ;)} The internet tells me :- Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, is a digestive disorder that affects the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), the ring of muscle between the esophagus and stomach. I must confess I didn’t look to far into the medical terms and stuff, I wonder if some yoga type exercise/meditation might help? Having had a bit of heart-burn myself last night/this morning {which is kind of freaky?} I find a drop of lemon juice or vinegar in water sometimes helps {I’m sipping on a cool lemon drink I got from town right now :)}. I’m glad he’s given you better medication & is thinking into the future with the test for ulcers. My goodness, & you’ve got a liver function test coming up too! What is the ‘balloon test’? Have you ever sat down & made a list of all the tests and things you’ve had done, might be interesting to see what parts of your body haven’t been literally ‘looked into’ yet?!?
I hope your resting now, enjoying a good movie whilst propped up with pillows on the couch 😉 Maybe try a little honey on the toast & in the tea, it’s not much but it may give you a little something to burn!?!
Lots of love and Nanny nags 😉 to you Claire ❤️
