Dialogue with Sane forum Forumites

Hi @chookmojo

When I write : 5 minute space I may have been writing of my own ...... Self ........ I can't take too much in and always need 5 minutes to let my mind re connect with what's happening.

Can't remember everything but that something you are ' diagnosed with' is Autistic spectrum.

But since I've known you, you seem to be highly intelligent .......

I need to just look up something you wrote about your Mum just a tic .....

Re: Dialogue with Sane forum Forumites

Hi dear @Appleblossom,

I do that a lot too, you should be proud of the fact you tried to get their, do you think you could set some rules with your son, re: being a cheufer? Maybe only to concerts, etc?

You need to make your license about you and your mobility, having a license does not mean you have to drive every day, you can have your license and still use the bus.

I am sorry you are suffering panic attacks, I am going through one as I type this.

Please be gentle with yourself my virtual mum, remember change is difficult for people like us.

Take care, thinking of you, hugs

Jacques

Thank you for your responses @Jacques @PeppiPatty

It means a lot to me that you tell me to look after my own mobility needs.

My son came up to me yesterday and said he has just recieved a voucher for RACV lessons from his dad. He knows that I offered him the vouchers years ago if he couldnt cope with me as driving teacher. I guess he is trying to get the bottom of this worlds need for speed. He has just been reluctant to drive and when we did do a series of driving lessons together, he was cautious and did fine.

I have put conditions on my driving him, and he is accepting and considerate so we should get through.

I had my meds upped and am a bit slow at the moment, but ok.

@Jacques

I feel so lucky because Silver chain came yesterday to see me; for my social support for two hours.

But I was overwhelmed and headachy......my husband opened the door and my team manager was there with my support person, they are worried about me because I have so much on my plate!!

Wow; although I was in bed and didnt see them, I felt so.cared for.

How can we get others to get to my lucky situation?? Wouldnt it be better if we all had seomone who cared about them like Silver chain cares about me??

Wow @PeppiPatty,

How nice is that, it must feel so nice to know someone cares for you. i am glad people are watching out for your well being, i worry about you too, i know you are doing so much so i just read your messages.

It would be nice for all people with MI problems to get the care they need, the problem is their is not enough people to go around, i am so glad you have been one of the lucky ones to be cared for.

How is your son, Hubby and Mr Arlo going? how are you coping?

Take care my friend, you are always in my thoughts, sending you well wishes.
