Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

@Faith-and-Hope & @Catcakes I hope you both slept well. How are you both feeling this morning?
I think a morning meditation or a little light yoga might be a nice way to start off the day?
I have been getting stuck into CrossFit which is a very odd form of self care as it isn’t something I am definitely not naturally good at but I love it!!
What do you both love to do for yourselves?

Nice to see you @Catcakes. Travelling to weddings, gosh that brings back some memories of old. 
I hope you're enjoying the change of scenery and letting yourself sit back and relax when you can. I think I'm going to do some sewing today, which will be self care 'cos the screen I intend to do (that keeps getting put aside) will block the bright light from the door from burning my eyes. 
On the other hand I might make a nightie (whihc has also been being put off). Not sure which is winning.
Hope there's some pleasantness in everyones day today.

Dropping by to say hi @Catcakes. I found a seriously cool ice cream cat amigurumi thingy and, while it's not technically a catcake, it's pretty close. It's pinned as an ooh that could make for a good self-care session one day.

I did finish the nightie yesterday, posted over in Craft Corner for any one in any way interested, saves double posting. Today the filter in the air con has to be cleaned, me so short, filter so high up, so not looking forward to it.
