Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

It is a beautiful part of the world and I love living here

1. you have finished the party and want to 'kick on' somewhere else or...
2. you have 'kicked on' somewhere else and are lost and need directions lol or....
3. you have had so much fun you need to be picked up from 'the big house' lol

A reflection... it’s now 62 days alcohol free for me. I have lost 4 kgs and saved heaps of money. I’ve had a much clearer head. The past two days were spent travelling interstate for a party. The venue didn’t have my preferred non alcoholic beverage so I drank mostly water. Towards the end of the evening, most people were less capable of intelligent conversation. There were other annoyances. I found it harder to relax, socialise and tolerate some people.
This morning was a slow start for my partner who had a fall from the wagon.
This week is going to be challenging....

It’s amazing the people who can’t say the words “well done” and instead put a negative spin on it with the word ‘boring’ ...
