Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

((( @Catcakes )))
If mushrooms work, keep at the mushrooms maybe? ![]()
I'm on a mushroom bent myself tonight, left over rissoles with mushrooms and onion saucy goodness. I have made enough mushroom roux to extract some and maybe, hoperfully have it with crepes tomorrow night.
Been wanting to make crepes for awhile but keep not having any suitable filling, now I have, there's no excuse.
When all else fails, I cook. You should see the freezer!
I went for a very short walk this afternoon too. First time I really had to get out, but the neighbour came out, so I fled back home. ![]()

So you have some goodness in your day most days with your mushrooms then. Excellent! @Catcakes
My situation means there's only me and my flatmate to eat my cooking efforts, so I do have to be mindful of space in the freezer
It might encourage an even greater over abundance of cooking if there was someone to regularly come to help consume it.
I made about 20 single serves of my Impossible Quiche a couple of weeks ago when there was an oversupply of milk due to bad dates, it's going to take a while to get through all of that!
I appreciate your kind words. ![]()
How is today panning out for you? I hope all is well or at least, well enough.

That sounds lovely @Catcakes (no S on SunShower, hun, tag doesn't like it
)
It's hot here again today, supposed to rain, not sure it will.
Thinking of what to do for the remainder of the day, dreadful night, hardly any sleep ... there's a wee bit of washing up, a shower, but want to do something 'nice' too. Maybe find a new netflix thing to watch.

Heh, I finally figured out how to use the drop down thingamy (not available in Quick Reply which I started out using) for the tags @Catcakes and to type in a name if it's not there.
I really appreciate your avatar.
Afternoon ideas might include a nap given such bad sleep last night. Going to go search up some crochet vids for Phoenix_Rising now.
Thinking of you in the heat, but the smell of sun dried sheets - nothing quite so nice. ![]()
