Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

a frustrating day on the phone, on hold, being
Pushed from department to department I finally got an answer regarding my partner’s admission to hospital. It seems the urgent status has been downgraded due to his blood results so he should receive an appointment to attend outpatients 😏

Guessing by that that the blood results ruled out some of the nasties @Catcakes .... so tahat has got to be good.
Hang in there .....
I saw the inside of a hospital last weekend, and a blood test ruled out a blood clot on the lungs ... yay .... so it saved a scan that would have been unnecessary.
Thinking of you. It’s tiring as well as emotionally stressful.

Not so sure @Faith -and-Hope. I’m pretty sure all the results show is anaemia/infection.
Will still need further investigations as situation is unchanged.
Glad your results ruled out anything serious.
I seem to see the insides of hospitals way too often lately 🤨

Right .... so the infection is presumably treatable, but they need to find the source of the anaemia .....
So at this stage they will investigate him as an outpatient ?

Don’t think I expressed myself very well.
I’m thinking the blood results showed no sign of anaemia or infection or they would have suggested treatment straight away. Colonoscopy needed to visualise any nasties
