Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Perfectly reasonable way to get your shopping home @Faith-and-Hope as long as you don’t dump trolley in the creek like some do around here...

It’s a pull-along-behind-you type shopping trolley that we bought @Catcakes .... lol ..... so no dumping, no. They are commonly (and sensibly) used in Europe where many people don’t own a car, are not time-poor, and walk to shops and back. I am seeing a lot of people here with shopping trolleys, but usually to come and go from the markets .... so I am about to stand out as a foreigner here I think .... 😏
Doctor checked my ears @Catcakes,and I don’t have ringing in the ears or anything. It’s numbness in the arms and paresthesia that were of concern, but they belong with fatigue syndromes and anxiety presentations along with a myriad of other things. While all tests came back not only clear, but good and strong, it has been put down to one of these two things for the moment. While not ignoring the symptoms entirely, they can be safely tolerated / sidelined for the moment.
They are a notable warning though. Keeping my pace low key, and mindful of my breathing cos shallow breathing will exacerbate it either way.

Coffee helps breathing apparently @Faith-and-Hope 😀 and you could get a nanna cart.. yeah had the numbness thing here too. Slow process re drs they suggested stop taking vitamins for months then test again re B12 yes saw on dr google can be stress related. Physio had a go as well seems to think it's something to do with neck re nerves .. sigh.. think I have to for a walk

Yes @Faith-and-Hope 😸 although saw the other day someone in US suing coffee chain cos roasting beans creates carcinogens apparently .. well what doesn't these days lol. Think will ignore that here 😎

Not this woman @Catcakes ....and it didn’t used to be this man either .... 😔
The kids and I used to go with him, and still do sometimes .... but driving half an hour to get there, and half an hour back again, three times a day every day is a bit overwhelming (understatement) .... although it’s down to 2x a day these days cos he has given up eating dinner now.
