Twisted -self care
Every morning I drive east into the sun.
At traffic lights I put sunscreen on the backs of my hands.
This morning I realised that this is self care,
Very rare for me.
I need to do more of this....

Okay .... I am travelling today, so gotta get my toosh into gear here ..... especially if I want to grab a coffee before I go ....

The first week of a new year and what will this one bring.
No house hunting at last,
When budget allows, some small home improvements,
Gently, gently guiding my Mum at sunset ,
Steps towards recovery from injury for my partner,
No kids at school for the first time in 23 years,
Continued therapy weekly or fortnightly as budget allows.
Goals include better monitoring of health issues,
More alcohol free days , daily dog walks as usual and some gardening and painting for relaxation.
