Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

No i got my caravan up on the block here. it is up and ready to be lived in (almost)i put some clothes in there and cutlery yesterday but nothing otherwise. Been putting an adjustable monitor arm up, so i can put my computer in there. but i have been very unwell since Friday morning. Today too. To unwell to do anything much physical. Even just walking to my car is exhausting right now. It been bad nausea, depression, voices, hallucination's and suicidal ideation. Struggling even now.

.

Thanks caring to ask my wife and kids would give a hoot even if i died i reckon. Wish Jesus come and get me many a time lately.

Truly a pain when my will is not His.

EDIT; i wrote the above only just 20 or minutes ago, after i had lovely chicken soup freshly cooked with herbs and rice noodles. However it has triggered my nausea, dramatically plummeted my mood, and left me Down Here wonder if i even want to try and go on like this....you know the feeling?

How fast can things change? i might try a nausea tablet, but i been badly constipated from them, so i try and prevent taking them. No matter the relief they are still also a pain in the a..... as well.

If you have some spare time can you say a prayer for me, i would really appreciate that. It has been hard 7 days and feeling it.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness thanks so much for your post and your prayers.

Half sister is denying the ashes have been scattered but she has lied so much that it's like the boy who cried wolf. We never know whether she's telling the truth or not.

I was supposed to get the inheritance by today at the latest and so far nothing. I am suffering from ongoing anxiety because I desperately need physio and dental work. Aside from the constant and chronic pain I am in, my teeth are deteriorating more and more and I just know it's going to end up costing more.

I've been praying constantly but so far God is picking and choosing which prayers to answer.

Sorry to offload like that! I've been listening to a couple of friends who are having problems and needed to vent myself.

I wish you all the best for the weekend, and may God bless you and keep you well 💜💐🫂🙏

Hebrews 12:1-3

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls."

.

i reckon one of the most misunderstood passages of the word of God is The Coming of our Lord. For thousands of years people have waited for Jesus to come down from Heaven to pick them up from Down Here and take them to glory.

i found in my life that wherever sin reigned in my heart, Jesus - The Truth - had to come down from Heaven and 'rapture' me away from that place, and lift me Up high His Way.

Living His Word true sees the raptures of His Comings inside our own hearts. Our Lord Jesus ruling from a cloud of witnesses, were we see the truths of the word of God come alive within us. God's right Alive in our own heart The Spirit of Jesus bringing us His New Life lived every Today more of His truth to find life inside of us. Hebrew 12 style.

i wrote a poem about this once how He appeared to me in my fallen state and 'took' me Up into His Ways instead of mine.

.

Rapture

I thought I been no good all my life,

held fast in cold, loveless strife.

Most of me had little faith in grace,

my loveless ways hid me from His face.

.

In my bad life I was untrue, insincere,

weak, overcome, consumed by fear.

I could not believe God loved me as well,

still listening to what those liars tell.

.

Great hailstones pounded down on me,

as I saw how wrong I come to be.

Fire and brimstone fed despair,

truthfully loving thoughts were rare.

.

"Where is your God?" tormentors cried,

the pit yawned open, dark and wide.

My good life burned up as I fell down,

in my godlessness I began to drown.

.

Unbearable agony—sinner's fate,

flames of lies that burn and berate.

Self-hate stoked the furnace high,

gnashing teeth, an endless cry

.

So I languished, lost in fate,

still asking how I come too late.

Unbelief constantly feeding misery,

as I watched myself turn ungodly.

.

My hell an endless, tortured night,

born from the bad life held inside.

Loveless deeds, untrue and deep,

now fire and judgement reap for keeps.

.

But after years, the Truth broke through,

God's grace reached into all I knew.

My bad life left to judgement's keep,

as angels came and reaped His sheep.

.

Awakened, i rose as from the dead,

His breath of truth filled me instead.

An army stood within my soul,

His blazing light became my goal.

.

Then in a moment, i rose to the sky,

to meet my Lord in the blink of an eye.

Behind me fell the rule of the lie,

as judgement answered every cry.

.

His smile held no trace of harm,

sin lost its will within His charm.

Even as He baptised me His holy fire,

truth restoring my life's desire.

.

A holy host Jesus brought down from Above,

rebuilding me in His kingdom of love.

He taught my heart His righteous way,

His love drove the rule of wrong away.

Philippians 1:3 (NIV)

“I thank my God every time I remember you.”

Biblical summary:

Paul expresses genuine gratitude to God whenever he thinks of the believers in Philippi. The verse shows the beauty of remembering people with thankfulness and recognising them as a gift from God. It reflects a heart of love, appreciation and spiritual connection, even when people are physically apart. 🙏

i thought i had already replied to you but it is not there, so obviously not. No i have not moved into my caravan. i have it here on the block. i put some of my stuff in there but heaps to go. i have been very unwell since last Week Friday, and have done stuff all, i think i had only one day i felt better and brought stuff there.

The street my mum was born on 91 years ago. (She is still up and about. Although clearly speeding Upwards towards the Over and Out Down Here.)

Today i felt a little better, but i had to change the water in my fish filter. Four fish died the warm weather this week. This alerted me to check the filter. The Ultra violet light had died and the water smelled pungent so i know i better put in a new light and change the water before even more fish die. Luckily i had a spare one. Better order some more. i also had to make dog food, for they had run out last night. and i chatted with our ex foster son for almost two hours about trauma management, and dealing with judgemental, as well as the authoritative figurds in her life. Not holding onto people's bad life cast but holding onto God's truth refusing their painful lies.

For even if the offence was true, that does not mean their judgement of it is, or is any of their business, yet she best seek out Jesus, if she still feels wrong, guilty or bad about herself, instead of bad about the bad that happened. And if she felt bad about who she was to go to God's for cleansing for that has not completed setting her free yet in His love. So great to see! More and more she is opening up, her past trauma as well as struggles she is having currently. Seeking out doing and feeling the right things and than king Jesus when she does. And now, for the first time, also giving me lots of good support where she can. It has been so good to see her blossom after all these years, and move away from her bad life. Reaching out for support and getting help her complex mental health issues.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp Glad you are still giving support to your foster daughter. Yes the stakes, judgments and traumaload tends to be high in our demographic.

I still deal with so much judgment, even though my life has been pretty straight for 45 years, so I am very weary of judgybudgy types. Lots of people who dont even realise they are violating decent boundaries and bossy types and without any genuine authority! That is what I am dealing with a lot, so I am pushing back. That is why it helps me to reflect on Goodness and God.

Take care Christian thread peep @heartathome @Realness @ENKELI

Hi @Appleblossom @ENKELI @DownMoreThanUp @heartathome @Taali

Sorry been busy doing things ....like DBT on Mondays two hours, student counsellor one hour, psychotherapist one hour. Saw the GP....

I'm lucky, I still have parents, but I still live with mum and it is SO hard to manage the sadness that when they are gone I will have to manage low income. I feel for you @ENKELI

@DownMoreThanUp you have so much family e.g. children, grandkids

Above link is a good summary of DBT. It is supposed to be taught in a group and homework to share some things about how you applied the skills.

So far, I've attended three sessions. First session wise mind, second session what to do to practice mindfulness, how to practice the mindfulness skills, third lesson was distress tolerance two skills, (accepts, six senses)

Too be honest that's why dbt costs so much, you practice re practice and keep drilling about breath work, being mindful, staying in the present, stop worrying about future, stop worrying about your stress triggers.

I'm finding it really hard. That's why it should cost a lot to do the course....

I really need to do something so I can earn more money. Running DBT course sounds like a plan.

....

Anyway...the anonymous "selfhelptoons" YouTube guy has an American voice. Sounds a bit like jon kabat-zinn

Need to get out and walk out my body aches.

Blessings !! Thanks for being here in the forums even though I don't read everything
