Re: Christian Chat

Thanks @Appleblossom, your expression "gently bently" always brings me comfort.

I've told God how much I'm miffed at Him and how does He expect me to remain faithful, especially as He is supposed to be a loving Father.

Sometimes the only thing keeping me going on days like this is the promise I made that I wouldn't do anything while my mum was still around.

I am so thankful to this forum and it helps that everyone is honest about their own struggles with faith.

Take care and God bless 🥰

@ENKELI

i understand your feelings of frustration having such a horrible act done to you. i understand being hurt, disappointed truth lived, and now your disappointment and anger at God because of that.

It has happened to me too, i even raged at Him many times my disappointments. Yet remarkably when i found my truth back, i found God always hurt my loss His truth in me far more than i ever did or had to. For i find Him back on The Cross next to me always innocent in the centre of my divided fallen self dining the wrong fruit.

-

i really hope and pray you too find Him on the bottom of your hurt my dear, like i did this weekend as well. Then that horrible loveless mindless act will be exposed as wrong His loving truth in your life and comfort you instead of make you feel so desolate.

.

i send you much love, our enemy can be so mean and cruel. The lie ruling is always unlike Christ, and against Christ, hurting us badly doing so don't you reckon dear sister?

.

This is my most favourite song Down Here fighting the lies hurting me my life a child of His truth. i hope it can guide your heart and mind as well. David also suffered from many injustices done in his life as do all called to life in His truth.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp my half sister is not a Christian. She has done many nasty things.

My question is, why doesn't God stop it? Why does He allow me to be hurt? This is nothing to do with the enemy, for I am not saying God is bad because of what the enemy is trying to tell me.

I am asking simply why would a loving God, who wants me to give Him my all (which I have) let me be so hurt and traumatised while my half sister gets away with it?

And please don't tell me about the treasures in heaven, there has to be a reason God allows us to suffer so terribly while we are on earth and the only reason I can come up with is that He doesn't really care or love us as much as the Bible claims He does. There is no lesson to learn here. Me suffering at the hands of my half sister won't make anything better in anyone's life. If something is to be revealed then maybe God needs to tell me that, but He remains silent when I ask why He is letting me suffer so much.

I honestly can't find a reason to pray anymore while He allows so much trauma and torment.

Sitting with you in this really vulnerable and nuanced space @ENKELI 💛

Maybe it's okay to acknowledge and feel all that you are feeling? Even if prayer feels far away right now, know that your forums family are here to hold you. What you're going through is genuinely so much, so remember to allow yourself some time and compassion. Sending big hugs your way. 🥰

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI

Because God loves Us The Truth of God/(good)Life suffers us. The Truth loves Life to be FREE His truth, but lies attacks His truthful love in us and turns our truth into battle field of suffering life Down Here instead of His good life.

.

This is what Jesus shows us on the Cross. In John 14 He told us if you see me then you see the Father, a little while later He hangs there stripped naked the shame and guilt of our sin, and made it all good, so that those who had fallen, ALL of us, could ALL be saved, His Truth taking it all up on Himself and has His love/Son overcome our wrongs and bring New for fallen Alive in His truth again.

.

For He brought ALL wrong to a GOOD ending - THAT IS GOD'S WILL - not our lies lived hurting Him Isaiah 53 the TRUTH of God lived TRULY.

.

So God did not want any wrong to happened, but your sister did her lies lived, and He wanted to save her from her lies lived His salvation. Paul taught me that in 1 Timothy 2:4-5 & 1 Timothy 4:9-10. Two really clear passages about His desire to rescue His offspring from the wicked captivating us with their lies our sinful lives lived.

.

The O.T say the wicked devour My people like bread. How true is that? Truly loving People are killed true all the time that is why we find so few truly loving people down here. God's truth is a very sad truth His death in us.

Re: Christian Chat

God promising not to let us down doesn’t mean that life will never disappoint, hurt, or break our hearts. It means something deeper about His faithfulness to us through all of it.

Deuteronomy 31:8 — ICB

“The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not leave you or forget you. So don’t be afraid. Don’t worry.”

Biblical summary

Moses spoke these words to Joshua as Joshua prepared to lead Israel into the Promised Land. God was reassuring him that, although the road ahead would contain difficulties and uncertainty, Joshua would never face it alone.

When God says He will not leave us or forget us, He is not promising that life itself will never let us down. Scripture is very honest that we will experience suffering, disappointment, loss and circumstances we don't understand. Even faithful people can be deeply hurt by life.

Rather, God's promise is that He will not fail us in His relationship with us. He will remain present, faithful and true. He doesn't abandon us when circumstances go wrong, and He doesn't withdraw His love because life has become painful.

So I think your distinction is a beautiful one: God may not prevent every way that life lets us down, but He will not let us down spiritually. He will continue to walk with us, strengthen us, hold us and ultimately bring us safely through.

Life can let us down. People can let us down. Circumstances can let us down. But God doesn't walk away when those things happen. That's the heart of Deuteronomy 31:8. 🙏

I've been thinking of you and wondering how you are. Have you moved into your new home yet? How's it feeling?

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @ENKELI ,

Just a quick follow up. How are you doing? I have been praying that God would be all around you and has lifted the heaviness of the ashes situation. I read somewhere that you're almost about to get the inheritance. Is it still on track? I hope so.
