@heartathome

What an awesome encouragement at this time. i've learned so much from Jesus the last 6 months of misery. He really opened my eyes to how The Truth suffers all wrong in life 24/7. Anyone suffering He suffers as well His Life.

@ENKELI (i've been missing you sis. i hope you are doing okay. God bless.)

i wrote a poem this morning the first one in awhile since my depressive bouts. It can take a bit to come back online.

The Battle We Win

The battle with my sin is to refuse to fight,

Any shadows that once brought me fright

But faithfully surrender even darkest night,

to perish Truth’s Sword's awesome might;

The Word heeded in Spirit becoming my sight,

His loving truth filling my soul only His delight.

*

All that in me once carried deepest shame

Will never be able to know His holy Name,

But bears the weight and bears the blame—

For we all know our Lord’s glorious fame:

is dividing the chaff from the golden grain,

When He returns to heal all my inner pain.

*

i know crowning Jesus King of my heart

Let His Love and Truth be my life guard,

His right has every wrongful shadow depart.

His light of day keeping me from sin apart

so The Door to Heaven is no longer barred.

So loving Jesus will be my eternal restart.

The Breath of Love

Before the stars had learned their song,

The Father spoke the world in grace.

Through living Word all life was born,

And Spirit breathed through time and space.

Creation rose in light and fire,

A universe held in Love’s desire.

*

Yet wandering hearts believed the lie,

And gardens filled with grief and fear.

Still Christ descended to our night,

The cross revealed that God is near.

For truth through wounded love was shown—

No soul, no world, is left alone.

*

Now Spirit moves through dust and flame,

Awaking life where hope seemed gone.

The Father’s heart, the Son’s bright name,

Make all creation rise as one.

And earth, once lost, becomes the Bride—

God dwelling with His world inside.

Hi Family how has your Day been Today?

*

*

His Torch As My Candle

I carried a torch through my daily pixelated haze,

A Truth hunter in the maze of my own life-sized-lie,

Fighting the beasts of the "might-have-been" days,

With a fire that scorched as I reached for the Sky.

*

I thought it was my hunger bringing the flame,

as I fought for my bread and I wrestled my night,

But He took the handle and whispered my name,

And turned all my striving to His sovereign Light.

*

Now I know the Torch is Truth’s steady hand,

a pillar of fire cleansing a downtrodden soul,

Watching the pixels of my own castles of sand

With His flame making me honest and whole.

*

It is no longer fission no more violent forced break,

But the Torch of love lights up the heart of My King

Held high for the sake of the souls that might wake,

so all catch the new song that the angels now sing.

*

My heart the vessel where His anointing oil overflows,

His love my Candle, God's grace turning me still,

The Torch is for showing the way the Wind blows,

While His Candle—my burning need to do His will.

*

The scorn of the world is like dust on my floor,

The pixels merely shadows that wither and fade,

I stand as a Witness to Heaven's wide open door,

His Torch has my Candle kindle His Word a Flame.

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

Thanks for all your posts. I follow your journey.

It's really good to hear that you have had some good days. May God continue to help you.

Life my end is much the same. Mostly reading. Scripture, fiction and the theology course. I have tried to do some writing but I'm not sure if it helps me or causes me to be stuck in the past. I'm interested in capturing what it is like to have a breakdown.

Hope you're having a good hour when this finds you.

good hearing from you and good to hear you have been okay. about wanting to captivate what it is like to have a break down i suggest you try out an AI medium.

First briefly out line your break down. then discuss it until the AI begins to get it right and gives good replies. And then ask it to write it down what you just told it. This gives a very nice outline, often very systematic according to the time line of the break down, issue wise, which helps have it rightly outlined. Then take it away and correct and fill out the story. Then bring it back and ask it to fix it and make to more readable but keep the contents the same. And then you edit it again after that. Often the story is then getting much better.

*

i found that overall it helped me processing my sexual assault as well as child trauma better. However the issues do spike at first, so be mentality ready to re deal with some of it.

See how you go. Just suggesting for if you feel stuck. AI can be useful then. However you have to make sure it gets the events right before you get it to write the draft for you. Sometimes that takes a bit.)

Did a bit of work on fighting sin Dining God's grace vs feeling bad and guilty.

*

From Gutter To The Table of Truth

Why do I tremble? Why do I need? Why do I hide?

Why does the room shrink with no place to bide?

My heart beats a rhythm, like a frantic, wild drum,

I’m waiting for judgement, for the hammer to come.

What have I broken? What mark have I missed?

Why is only poison in the cups that I’ve kissed?

Why do I feel hollow, and "no good" in God's eyes?

Why, O why, do I keep suffering these cruel lies?

*

Feeling bad was the weight of a life in wilful sin,

guilt the sound of the prison-gate letting me in.

Yet truly God was not hiding, I was bound by a lie,

untruth requiring the truth of myself had to die

For I thought my heart raced because I was small,

But it beat hard for the man breaking his wall.

Forgiveness doesn't hand out old mouldy bread,

Nor does Christ's love feed dark rot into my head.

*

See the door swinging wide, His mercy is bold,

Jesus trades in my iron for a ring of pure gold.

I dine at the Table of my Saviour so dear,

The feast of His grace silences every fear.

No more raw meat or the blood-laced wine,

A hungry soul filled with His righteousness as mine.

Accusations are gone, His Truth is my sight,

I’ll not feel bad for what Jesus made right.

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @Realness Lets talk about 'mental breakdowns'. I got this from my AI. I hope your day is okay. Much love to you, my friend! 💚

If you're wondering whether you've had a “mental breakdown”, there isn't really a medical test or a clear definition of one. People usually use that phrase when they’ve become so overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, grief or everything they’ve been carrying that they feel they simply can’t cope or function normally anymore.

It can look like crying a lot, feeling completely overwhelmed, having panic or intense anxiety, not sleeping or sleeping constantly, struggling to think or make decisions, withdrawing from people, losing interest in things, feeling exhausted or emotionally numb, or finding ordinary everyday things suddenly impossible.

Sometimes you don't even realise how badly you're struggling until afterwards. You may just think you're weak, failing, or “not yourself”. But reaching a point where you can't keep functioning the way you normally do doesn't mean you're weak. It can mean you've been carrying too much for too long.

And I think the journaling you're doing can be a really good thing. Looking back at what you've been through doesn't necessarily mean you're keeping yourself stuck in the past. Sometimes writing things down helps you make sense of them, understand your feelings and see things from a little more distance.

Maybe the thing to notice is how you feel after you've journalled. If you feel a little lighter, clearer, calmer, or as though you've understood something you couldn't quite put into words before, then it's probably helping you process things.

You don't have to forget the past to move forward. Sometimes understanding the past is actually part of finding your way out of it. ❤️

And please remember, you don't have to have a label for what you've been through for it to be real or for you to deserve support. If you're struggling, that's enough reason to be kind to yourself and ask for some help.

What do you think? I found journaling especially helpful working through trauma. 💚
