Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

My replies keep disappearing @realness. Could a @moderator please tell me if I can find them somewhere? It was another long post that I sent you Realness, and I am too cranky to start again! 😠 I'm really glad to hear from you! 💚

Hi @heartathome,

I'm sorry to hear your replies keep disappearing, that would be really frustrating.

If this is continuing to happen, could you please submit a report through the technical feedback form. That will help our IT team investigate what's going on

I hope we can get this sorted for you soon 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Sorry, I have not logged on for a while, I've been busy with family commitments and very overwhelmed. Trying to find a reason and meaning for the way things have unfolded.

It was good to be mentioned and feel remembered by friends. Thank you.

@Realness To play all the Beethoven Sonatas is quite a feat.

I also play a range of music, including some rock, but mostly classical, and not amplified.

@heartathome @DownMoreThanUp @ENKELI @MissGremlin

There are still glitches for me on the forum.

Oh well.

I tried to find a youtube of the hymn of a psalm we did today in SATB, but there dont seem to be any versions online after looking for 20 minutes. So just posting this.

Oops. I dont seem to be able to post a link, only a photo from my private file, which actually seems not Sane guidelines. Also my notifications are not as they should. I cant access many, just the last day's notifications, so I have no idea who may have mentioned me. Sorry... hope the tekkies can fix stuff.

Take care all ...

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @Appleblossom It's so good to see you on again! It sounds like it's been pretty full on for you! I hope you and your son are okay! The upgrade on here was a disaster but things have improved greatly over the last month, thank goodness. The ongoing glitches are frustrating and annoying. I don't like writing long posts anymore as they keep disappearing while I'm typing and I have no idea why! I report to the tech 'guys' all the time. I'm sure they're sick of seeing my name! 😁 I've been asked to talk to a mental health referral centre about SANE this week. I'm unsure what I'm going to say at this stage. The upgrade really disrupted my mental health. I'm doing okay at the moment though. Sending you many hugs and much love. 💚

Re: Christian Chat

"The gate is small and the road is narrow that leads to true life. Only a few people find that road."

— Matthew 7:14 (ICB) 🙏

From my AI and me

The New Testament consistently presents Jesus as both Saviour and Lord. Salvation is a gift of God's grace through faith, not something we earn by our obedience (Ephesians 2:8–9). But genuine faith is expected to produce a life of obedience to Christ (Ephesians 2:10; James 2:17).

Matthew 7 fits that theme well. Just a few verses later, Jesus says:

"Not all who say to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do what my Father in heaven wants."

— Matthew 7:21 (ICB)

Jesus isn't teaching that we are saved because we obey. Rather, He's teaching that those who truly know Him will seek to obey Him. Obedience is the fruit of a changed heart.

"Many people want a Saviour to rescue them, but fewer want a Lord to obey. Yet Jesus is both. The narrow road is the path of trusting Him, loving Him, and following Him in obedience." 💚

@heartathome

Thanks for that Bite and thanks for your thoughts.

It is the loving Him that has us obey Him i found out in my life as well as His Word. The more we love Him from the heart the more the heart transforms His likeness. Our God is love that is where we fallen ones originate from. Psalm 139 tells us

@Appleblossom

Hi Good seeing you around again. Glad to hear you are fine.

@ENKELI i @Realness @Lozenge

Everyone else okay?

i'm getting up myself. The anger i let go, as i had my wife. She wants to sell up and separate bank accounts. So i'm off to the bank today and will try and open a new account. i took our daughter out yesterday. It was great seeing her. She was happy seeing me. We went to the park and she played on some toys. we walked around the park and looked at all the people and things. Had a cuppa and chips and a beach walk. It was magic. i felt so well. The first time in may months and not at all sick afterwards. i'm breaking free from the past and am learning to walk on my own legs.

Jeremiah 31. 25 ICB

"I will give rest to those who are tired. I will satisfy those who are weak." 🙏

God promises to refresh and strengthen those who are weary. When we feel exhausted, discouraged, or burdened, He offers rest, renewed strength, and the hope that only He can give. 💚

Re: Christian Chat

Thanks @MissGremlin @DownMoreThanUp @Realness

I used to know many tekkie types in the 1980s, at work an in my personal life. Hmmmmm. I dont feel the world is a better place, with the rise of computer technology. I do reserve the right to distinguish between different types of tools, and prefer the ones we use in real life. It used to called the virtual world, but sadly, too many government departments around the world have bought into it all, coerced by big tek. Anyway we can only change the things we can, gotta accept the things we cant.

@heartathome Yes, the so called upgrade has been very stressful and disruptive to many of us.

Just sending HUGS and HANDSHAKES.... whatever is appropriate.

I hope nobody has tagged me and thinks I am not responding as I cant see all my notifications.

Re: Christian Chat

Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." 🙏

Biblical summary:

God calls us to treat others with kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. Because He has freely forgiven us through Jesus Christ, we are to extend that same grace to others. Forgiveness doesn't always mean forgetting or pretending the hurt never happened, but it means choosing to let go of bitterness and trusting God with justice and healing. 💚
