Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

@heartathome

i think the text you dwelt on here is one of the most important ones often forgotten. To be kind, loving, forgiving, and gentle towards one another. Yet it is the heart of Jesus.

My New Creation in Him

Revelation lived—Christ revealed to my sight,

His Light at work in my inner world of plight.

His love breaks through, ending my longest night,

Till grace’s dawn restores my lost inner light.

*

His Breath—His Sword—cuts down the rule of lies,

False powers fall as loving truth arises.

My mind once shaped by darkness’ cruellest claims

Now fades before the Lamb’s redeeming flames.

*

His grace conceives new life—His holy seed,

His Word my daily bread, His Presence feeds.

Once blind, I see—yet still upheld I stand,

Restored by love no darkness can withstand.

*

New life unfolds—His Kingdom in my heart,

Old patterns fall, made whole in every part.

A priestly life, in Spirit led and true,

Prays life for those still bound in shadows’ view.

*

Forever I behold the light of His face,

Held safe in Christ—my dwelling, living place.

All praise to Him—my Light, my Life, my King,

Who shows me now the song of Moses I sing.

Maybe I have posted this before, but often I need to reflect on the

Serenity Prayer

Especially now...

Prayers and blessing to you all ...

I love the serenity prayer @Appleblossom I haven't seen it in full before. I learnt the beginning of it years ago at NA 💚

Proverbs 17: 17 (ICB):

"A friend loves you all the time. A brother was born to help in times of trouble."

Biblical summary:

This verse teaches that true friends love us consistently, not just when life is easy. It also reminds us that family and those who care for us are meant to stand beside us during difficult times. As Christians, we're called to show this kind of faithful, dependable love to others, just as God faithfully loves us. ❤️

Feeling pretty down the dumps today. Been asking Jesus to consider taking me home. To be unwell and face the world on my own is becoming too overwhelming at times like these. i need trust He be with me big time then. Trying to hold onto the moment, but keep drifting into the past and future too.

Talking Mummies,

Those Mummies Walking Do The Talking. (Psalm 18:4-5)

Sadly narcissistic rulers still do the talking,

see real life zombies along side me walking.

Lifeless eyes always after my good life greed,

the long dead drag me alive down their feed. (Psalm 14:4)

*

This is how zombies take my life in their grip,

doing what demand yells beneath the slaver’s whip

For bondage is the way of all the wicked ones,

so my heart's desires birth only lawless sons. (Isaiah 57:3-4)

*

Throughout the ages the wicked dug me my grave,

feasting my hell while themselves sound and safe.

feeding on the life of God’s own love and grace,

for ever more spiritual death in my life to raise. (Psalm 11:2)

*

Yet the truth of God, will cast them down, One Day.

Rob them of their golden crown proudly on display,

Wicked rule over hurting hearts doesn't last forever,

God knows the The Truth of Christ will them sever. (Malachi 4:1-3)

*

Then free to dine God's created good I will forever be,

no one again stealing my good times away from me.

The Truth of God's good showering me His daily love,

dining with Christ’s own in the heavenly realms above. (Ephesians 2:6)

*

While those dead who schemed around within my heart,

I no longer feed my life blood but have them all depart.

For in Jesus I know that heeding death offers no true life,

For only the torments of Christ’s hell await life in lies. (Exodus 1:15-16, 22)

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome,

I also was reading James today. It's an amazing simple practical book!

Thanks for all your posts everywhere. I'm still a little nervous about long posts. I don't know why a post from the first page is showing on the last most recent page - is it covering other posts? - I won't fully trust the Christian Chat until it is on the first page only.

I still spend much of my time reading. I'm reading the Wizard of Oz books at the moment. There are 15 of them. Then I will read the three volume sequel to the Wicked series.

This morning I worked in the front garden for a while. It shows that it hasn't rained for awhile - some of the trees were sad. I watered them but one is still looking sad.

I have started sleeping in to 10 am . The opposite of your problem. I get too much sleep. Is it just the lethargy? Or am I being very lazy?

The new theology course is much longer than the last two. Painfully long. I'm going to have to dedicate a lot of time to it to finish it on time.

Life is okay but not much news.

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @Realness The Wizard of Oz is a great old movie. You'll be busy ready all those books along with the theology course! Do you enjoy being in the garden? Sleep would be good. I'm glad you're sleeping. I'm only getting about three hours a night. I'm trying to get hold of my psychiatrist to help. I first tried to get hold of him last month, but he hasn't answered me! 🫤 I've got an emergency appointment on Monday which is good of them to put me in. I got a large mole that was infected taken out yesterday. About 8 stitches. I want to end now in case the reply disappears... again! Lots of short ones will suffice. Much love my friend 💚

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome ,

Great to hear from you as always.

For awhile I lived in a home with a huge garden. It was all overgrown with heaps of dead branches. I had the most glorious time working my way through that garden. But I was younger and my knees weren't an issue. Now it's not long before my knees are hurting and it is not as easy to get down to the ground.

I hope your doctor is able to resolve the sleep issue. I hate not getting enough sleep. It impacts my mood.

I hope you heal quickly after the other medical procedure also (sorry can't see your message to word that better).

I will be busy with my reading list. It will take a while because when I finish my procrastination I will need to prioritise the theology course.

Hope you are having an okay day.

Re: Christian Chat

Proverbs 18:21 ICB

"The words you say can mean life or death. Those who speak with care will be rewarded."

Biblical summary: This verse reminds us that our words are powerful. They can bring hope, comfort, truth, and healing, or they can cause hurt and discouragement. God calls us to speak carefully, lovingly, and wisely because our words have a lasting impact on others—and on ourselves.

It's a simple verse, but a profound one. It encourages us to use our speech to bring life wherever we can. 🌿
